[Error] Persistent auto-shoot

Sometime when I am killed will firing with a Kar98 / Nagant I respawn and auto fire. If I reload I automatically shoot again.

Only solution is the manually fire the entire clip and reload.

Similar thing happens to me:
Sometimes i can't shoot, die, and when i respawn i automaticly fire;only if i press elft mouse it stops.
It's like the mosue button si getting stuck or something but it doesn't happen in other games.

Had one of those things today when shooting the kar blind.
I could keep firing it without reload more than 7 shots pulled off.
MIght have been lag tho, anyways I'll report it when it does it a couple of times more, becaus it was weird.

You don't have to let it fire the whole clip, as has been stated above pressing the fire button makes it stop.

But yes it is like the fire button is stuck and clicking it gets it unstuck.

I've had it stay broken after pressing fire - it even bolted the rifle for me

I see. I have only experienced the benign form of this bug then.

Happens here with k98, I fired a time and didn't stop, only pressing again and with MG34 when respawn.

This bug seems to be weapon independent; I've seen it with bolts, SMGs, LMGs, and I think I was even TKed by a semi auto rifle acting up in this manner. I've also seen both the single-shot and multi-shot (fire-bolt-fire) varieties of this bug, though I don't know what causes this bug to take one form over the other.

Also, vanelle, I think you saw a different bug. I haven't encountered that one personally, but my understanding is that there is an issue when blind firing a bolt action rifle where the rifle goes fully automatic and has a random amount of ammunition.

Have had similar issues with the K98, just randomly start firing rounds. Am yet to find out if it's anything I'm doing, only happened a couple of times.

Yep I've had this happen to. Always seems to be when you spawn. I've never had it start happening "mid life".
