as long as it gets engaged far enough away (by dumbass demos probably) you don't want to spam it. the rest of the team should call the target to the sniper and then return to kiling off lesser specemines. for the sniper, line up and wait for the right shot. don't just spam at it, because you might miss. this is also true of fp's. the best time to hit a fp is when it begins to rage. it's standing still, the head is framed by it's arms, and it's just begging to die.

And now for my srs bzns.

Yes, lining up shots is great. Spam is bad, for a sharpie. And the best time is not always when it enrages. It's best to get in a shot before that happens. That way you can get 2 shots in before it becomes dangerous. Once it's enraged it becomes significantly harder to even hit it scoped.

I dunno. Most of the people I play with sort of disregard skrakes on normal and beginner too. What I've seen is they either leave it up to the shooter, the zerker, or if neither are present, the commando (i.e. me).

This may just be me, but whenever I see a skrake coming in front of me and there are teammates behind me, I disregard everything and unload a full clip of bullpup to their head, just because it's so steady for commandos. Then I unload another full clip and that usually gets the job done. As a commando of course.

Or you use a single SCAR clip. This should work aswell as an lvl6 commando.

Alright it's like this:

If a team doesn't have any one who can deal with scrakes and FPs and the commando have to kill them, then the team fail

If a team does have people who make it known that they're going to take care of scrakes and FPs and a commando tries to kill them, then the commando fail.

It does the team no good if six of you focus fire on a FP, then realize after its dead that you're surrounded by 30 gorefasts.

as long as me or another good sniper are there (w/out the f-ing m14, i got no respect for anyone who ever considers buying that gun) then it doesn't reflect badly on you at all.

I wish I could stop buying the M14...but I haven't gotten that stupid achievement. Otherwise I would snipe everything with the xbow. M14 sharpshooter weapon my ***. Thing recoils worse than a bullpup..while using the sharpshooter perk!
