Intel quad-core Q6600 running at 3.0ghz
4GB RAM
Nvidia GTX 260
Auzentech X-Fi (game doesn't seem to even use this, no surround sound or anything)
1920x1600 resolution.

Runs abysmal outside of buildings at medium settings, with most shader options disabled such as bloom, depth of field, shadows on low, etc.

60 stable FPS indoors, 20 stable fps outdoors - FallenFighters
60 stable FPS indoors, 29-30 stable fps outdoors - Apartments

Pretty sure its just beta un-optimization or something because of how crazy the FPS difference is, at least I hope my PC doesn't suck this bad now heh.

Edit: My sound randomly stopped working in a game and my FPS outdoors went up significantly, was 50 FPS stable on FallenFighters and 56-58 on Apartments. The game is not recognizing my sound card it seems, that's the source of my bad FPS

Its clear that some people having problems with FPS. So its probably a good idea to start a Specs and Comments thread.

Mine As Follows:
Windows 7 64 Bit
i7 960 3.2 Ghz
Geforce GTX 570, Standard Clock, Latest WHQL Drivers
12 GB DDR3 RAM
120 GB SSD

Games Settings: Ultra, no Vsync (Hate it)
Experience: Runs like smooth silk (Forgive the simile).

My Resolution is low, 1366 X 768 (16:9). But that's because I use my tv as my computer monitor. Which is in turn hooked up to my PS3 in my office as well.

I also CCleaner, Defrag, and Restore or Reinstall Windows 7 regularly.
Hey
I have a near identical setup.
Do you you have hardware physics on, bloom on, etc? Also, do you know a specific framerate you are getting? Thanks.

I'd kill for a performance report from someone with a dual core thats less than 3 ghz, but with a decent graphics card (so I know its not an issue).

Because I have a 2.8 ghz dual core but a GTX 260.

Running ALL settings on high:

Core2 Quad 9550 @2.67
nVidia GTX 260
4GB DDR3(1333)
Win vista business

Runs AMAZINGLY, haven't turned on a FPS meter but I'd guess upwards of 50 frames easily. Smoke slows it down noticeably, but not to the point where it's unable to deal with someone while in it (even CS:S smoke kills my frames the the point of unplayability)

GHZ doesn't matter much. An AMD X2 at 3.0 GHZ will be slower than a E6600 at 2.6 GHZ. ;)

Windows 7 64 Bit
Intel C2Quad Q8200
4Gb Ram
ATI 4850
1440x900 Resolution

All setting set to low (depth of field also turned off).

Getting about 30 - 50 fps on Apartments, but only getting 17 - 40 fps on Fallen Fighters (GPU usage is between 15% - 50% on both maps)

20-30 FPS when maxed, needless to say I can't play maxed. Hope optimization gets improved down the line.

Windows 7 64-bit
AMD 6870x2 (Dual-GPU)
AMD 955BE
8GB DDR2
AMD Catalyst 11.8; latest 11.8 CAPI2

1920x1080
Everything maxed; shadows on low
Hardware Physics, AO, Framerate Smoothing, One Frame Thread Lag, Motion Blur and Bloom disabled; Light Shafts enabled

- around 40 FPS average in crossfire mode
- around 50 FPS average with only one GPU (crossfire disabled in AMD Vision...)

Crossfire should have great potential here...

Windows 7 64 bit
2630QM
560M GTX (275.33)
8GB RAM
1920x1080

~40 fps on high/ultra

GPU utilization rarely exceeds 80%. I can stare at a wall and get ~45fps, or look in smoke and get ~30 fps, but the highest I can get the GPU utilization is 86%. I should probably update the driver.

Someone should give AMD a heads up to include RO2 optimizations in upcoming drivers.

Nvidia cards seem to do much better than their AMD equivalents.

Will you stop the shameless Nvidia plugging? The fact is that both brands perform differently in different systems under different conditions...are you even factoring in cooling? I have an XFX ATI Radeon HD 6790 1GB with dual fans and it runs the game wonderfully and cheaper than Nvidia.

How is it shameless?

I;m not saying EVERYone with an AMD runs it worse than the Nvidia counterpart, but I suggest you take a good look on the forums.

Most problems seem to be with ATI cards.

Sorry if I hurt your feelings though.

AMD PHENOM II X4 965 clocked to 3.6Ghz
Radeon HD 6870
8GB DDR3 1600Mhz CL8
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

Getting 50-80 fps with settings on high (lighting) to very high (details, textures, AA), with shadows on normal. 1680x1050.
But the game stutters randomly, like a small instance of lag. Seems to do it no matter what settings I choose. The clocking is fine btw.

AMD Phenom II X4 955 clocked to 4.0Ghz
Radeon HD 6970
8 GB DDR3
Windows 7 x64
1920 x 1080

Getting solid 60 fps (vsync) with everything maxed out except shadows which are set to low. Sometimes when there is a lot of action the framerate drops to 20-30 but it recovers quickly afterwards.

When I max the game out, I'm getting around 35 - 40 FPS, but when I set it to "Ultra" instead of Custom (everything right up) with Motion Blur and Bloom turned off I get about 50 FPS.

Specs:

Intel Core i7 930 @ 4Ghz
6Gb Corsair XMS3 1600Mhz
EVGA GTX 465
Samsung Syncmaster 2233 (120Hertz)

I've seen people all over the place doing this. Plugging one brand or the other saying their competitor is worthless or don't buy from them etc or you'll have X or Y problem. Half the time it's not actually the card causing an issue...but since it's a 3d game people make the assumption that it must be the GPU. It's bunk man. Yes some people are having issues but how much you want to bet most of it has to do with their overall hardware configuration? I am speculating here, but so are you. Where's the credible statistical evidence showing that ATI runs like crap compared to Nvidia? 'Cause that's basically what you've been saying.

This game runs PATHETICALLY on ATI cards. The game is still in alpha stage, or that's what it feels like anyway. I can't even stand to play it because of the extreme lag. Bias towards Nvidia once again.

Aw, did I hurt your feelings after all? It sounds like it, because you're putting words in my mouth, either that, or you're just plain slow.

I didn't say ATI's run like crap. Where did you hear me say ATI's run like crap? I have an ATI, and it doesn't run like crap. It just seems to no be pacing at the same speed as ATI equivalents and have problems some of my friends do not have with their Nvidia's.

Alot of it seems to be resonating with a number of peop[le on these forums.

And No, I'm not going to do your reading for you, just because I rubbed you the wrong way.
