"Pick up a stick, pretend its a gun, turn left and right. Then post back."

It all depends if your holding your gun in place and turning your head, or aiming the gun along with your body turning. Different games do it different ways, I don't think my point is all that ridiculous. its a different POV than most people are used to in games.

I've never played a game with free aim I know that's one thing that has bothered me from the videos. Does this free aiming only effect spraying your gun doesn't move left and right when you ADS does it?

All I was asking about what I guess is called "free aim" is why is it being used? Is it in place just to make the game feel more real, or is it there to keep people from aiming at the center of the screen and never using their sights.

I like it though, because I do think it forces people to use their sights alot more which slows down the action a bit, in real war people aim. At least I hope so..I've never been in a war...

About that PC Gamer cover...

TBH I'm more curious about that Minecraft footage. My need for RO2 videos has been fulfilled lately.

About free aim,

I think it's good because it makes hipfire more inaccurate.

I get that Free Aim detaches your eyes from the end of the gun barrel. What I'm not sure about, having never experienced free aim, is how it works, practically. Is there simply a zone in which mouse movement translates to the weapon only and then, once you move beyond the radius of said zone, translates to head/body movement?

Sorry for the noob question here, but I'm honestly a bit unsure of this.
(It's also entirely possible that it's perfectly plain and obvious, but I haven't finished my coffee yet, hehe)

In RO1 free aim doesn't exist for Iron sights, for RO2, they decided to expand the system to Iron sights. Don't worry though, besides being very easy to use based on the videos, there are options to turn it off.

lol "never before seen gameplay". Isn't even video of any gameplay somewhat different and exclusive?

But yeah, Zips and MaskedGamer have covered my RO2 needs, I want to see Minecraft.
