So I just bought this game today and I was surprised at how well it ran on my PC. I was playing on the IceCaves map and my computer completely froze to where I had to hard reset it. I went on the map again and the same thing happened. Well I tried different maps and heres a list of what happened... (I havent tried all maps yet)

Computer froze on:
Biotics Lab
Ice Caves
Santas Evil Lair
Farm
Offices
Bedlam

Computer dosent freeze on:
West London
Manor
Mt. Pass
Biohazard

PC Specs:
Windows XP
Nvidia 6200 512MB
1GB RAM

I have tried setting my graphics lower and using DX8 but neither helped. I also tried to cool my computer down (Opened the lid and put a fan on it) just in case it was overheating that was the problem but that didnt do anything either.

Any ideas?

There is no crash log in the KillingFloor.log file.

Have you tried checking what temps your CPU/GPU are reaching at crash point?

CPU stays at 50-60 Celsius no matter what Im doing. I played through West London and my GPU went up to 80 and stayed there from wave 6-10 and no crash. I went on Ice Caves and got to round to then my computer froze again temp was at 68 Celsius. Guess that rules out overheating.... Though I will try and get my temp down from 80 that seems high >.>

you definitely need more ram, possibly a better vid card, but first you should invest in at least 2-4gb ram (you can buy 4gb, but only approx 3.5gb will be used by xp)

Im planning on getting a new PC in the next few weeks, this one is old and only supports 2GB ram (Costs 60$ for 2GB also -.-) so maybe I should just wait and see if I have the same problem on the new PC?
