Pay for dlc?

I dont know if I would pay for it because last time I bought it, when I went to the charactr selection option i clicked on one of the DLC characters and a screen popped up telling my to buy the downloadable content pack. But anyway the DLC stay locked and i lost my money. But I would still buy it anyway because they need to eat and do every day things like us.



I think steam need a Weapons DLC pack, now that would be awsome!
If you dont have the downloadable content pack, you cant pick up the weapon.

That's not TW's fault entirely. The lost of money was because, no offense it's your stupidity of not informing them

As we've said somewhere in the past (and has been echoed in this thread by some people): we started exploring DLC a while back, with the Character Packs. We absolutely did not want to split the community, as some companies manage, by charging for things people "need".

You do raise an interesting point: what if we created an extra Perk, with its own weapons benefits? People don't "need" that in order to play - but they could pay to get access to that perk, its leveling and the bonuses it gives.

Honestly, I'm not sure... debate on!

Some of the other posts have indicated that a more "powerful" perk or character can only help the team and therefore not imbalance the game, and after reading that I thought to myself why does the perk need to be more powerful?

I honestly don't mind using a lower level perk or a new perk that isn't as powerful as some of the perks we have now (sharp shooter, support ETC.) that utilizes different tools as I'm sure many of the players in KF would agree.

So far the trend is to create more powerful weapons like the SCAR, the AA shotgun, or the m14, but what what about new weapons of the converse idea?

Such as having a m4 carbine thats between the scar and the bulpulp? I realize this isnt a idea suggestion thread but weapons that aren't more powerfult than the free content weapons whose unique to those to pay for the DLC would be perfectly fine in my opinion.

The character packs were terrific and the price was wonderful, so if I had to pay a bit more for weapons, perks ETC. I be more than happy to.

I think this community...or atleast most of the stuck up greedy people in this thread need to realize that our world is not "A PERFECT WORLD". In our world "You get what you pay for" and "Nobody gives anything for free". I understand that, TWI makes video games for MONEY. Even if the people who do purchase the DLC get an overpowered perk.....THATS THE WAY THIS WORLD IS. You get more when you pay more. I dont think TWI will take much interest in updating KF if there is nothing for them to gain. They would NEVER come out and say that(who would) but you have to understand thats what a company is for.

It really makes me see how greedy, unreasonable, narrow-minded, stubborn, unrealistic, and childish some people in this forum have been..

I generally do not allow myself to mellow down to a level where I would bicker against some1 in the forms but you are just FLAT OUT WRONG.

The community here in KF is one of the better ones I've ever seen in a long while, the individuals aren't stuck up or greedy they just want whats fair. Now I cannot speak for your personal experiences nor can I speak for everyone that belongs to these forums but from what I've seen with my eyes I stand by my point adamantly.

Before I say anything further please visit the combat arms forums, its a free to play first person shooter and it has, hands down, the WORST community ever, quite possibly because their target demographic is between the ages of 16-24, but its no excuse.

The people in the combat arms forums are what I call the "sewer sledge people of the internet community"

Joe, i never said i can make the animation or the coding. Just said that if you want new stuff, dont wait until others make it for you (if they ever do).

I do have to say that im frustrated enough with this game lately that i would pay 50 dollars for them to simply change the news message in multi-player. From "VOTE FOR US" and "HAVE A GOOD HOLIDAY" to - "We take forever to change a simple welcome message so enjoy this one for now and we plan on putting out another Dec. 26, 2012 when the world has ended."

Sorry to be nerd raging all over the place but really how am i supposed to expect a patch or update to this game anytime soon if you guys are still telling me to enjoy the holidays in June? Is there even a holiday in June? LOL NO, well at least i cant think of any.

Well the game is American and i think theirs 2 or 3 holidays in June
And yeah, seems like TW keeps everything about KF a secret
