PC Patriarch HP Draining

The patriarch would lose his HP gradually, this happens in multiplayer as well as solo.
I think it has something to do with the patriarch killing some zeds (Friendly Fire?)
Not sure what triggers it but I don't think it's intended

I know that this is something that should be happening in VS Mode only, but it sometimes happens in Survival

There doesn't seem to be zeds around it! it's more likely fighting itself.
I think this was supposed to happen in the versus gameplay when zeds don't damage players. But it's happening here

Usually yes, and I notice it mostly when he kills his own zeds by penetrating them or with his Rocket Launcher. It tends to happen more when he does

It sounds like it keeps stubbing his toe on something, and takes damage by doing so. (maybe attacking another zed? or attacking... something)

Would have been much easier if the game had a demo recording feature like on Source games, to later watch the replay to see what Patriarch is doing outside of player's vision.

I have seen it once, that happened when he stuck, he was constantly playing his leg kick attack and damaging himself (damagetype was the same as on this leg attack).
