i could imagine the problem is the attaching.
You could modify the code a little and check in what case in the attach function its going in. (/me would love to get some debug files ;) )
Since TW didnt release the skeletal meshes (or the bone names) yet, you cant be sure there is a spine bone (unless you find that somewhere else in the RO code :) )

A few notes to all those who plan on using this mut.

-Note: The mutator that was embedded into IronAnnie did not use the Unreal Powerup class like the original edo_chute does. The powerup class was the source of many headaches on the server side. I think it was Ramm that eventually changed it for me so that the Parachute became a RoInventory Item (cheers to ramm). This seemed to crash the test server less ( notice i say less). Not only did it cause many headaches with regards to server crashing but i found alot of servers didn't bother to edit thier ROServerBlah.ini and this ended up in a bug where the parachutees couldn't change their weapons.

-My advice: burn this mutator gather the ashes with a 10 foot stick and throw them into the nearest gorge, then start a new one from scratch it will cause you less pain in the end( since you can code it with RO classes in mind. )

P.s - you can open Ued and open a player model in the animation browser and turn on the view bones option the names should be visible after that.

It was also flawed in that the chute never "turned off". In other words, if you fell more than 10 feet or whatever *poof!* out comes the chute. I remember jumping from the upper level of the barn in Iron Annie and drifting lazily down thanks to my magic chute.

Cheers to STJ for busting his ass on this mut in the mod days. I know that it cost him many hours, many hairs on his head, and a good portion of his sanity.

And I'll agree with him: Start something new.
