PHYS_Falling reduce max Panzerfaust range to 100m (with 45m/s speed)... With PHYS_Projectile works fine, ballistic coefficient of 0.3 reduces range to 180m, 0.1 to 160m. This was probably max ballistic range of Panzerfaust 60, or little less. I probably fix it somwhere around 120m with BC of 0.05.

otester give me email please, I'll send you working panzerfaust weapon/rocket with panzershreck ballistics and sight set roughly to 100m. Wonder about BC. The panzershreck rocket had about 1000m of pure ballistic range with 110m/s velocity, but would be hard to test in RO as flight height would be around 250m... has to learn how to increase ceiling on a map...

Just a single sight according to pictures on that sites, just 100m default :)

yeah you did they are:
Aiming was done via a simple sighting device (see sketch at left) consisting of two metal hooks, one serving as the notch, the other one as bead with little inset bars for the different ranges of 100, 150 and 200m (RPzB.54/1). The bead part of the sight also had to be repositioned to account for the different characteristics of both the RPzB.Gr. 4322 and 4992 and the respective summer and winter versions of these.

Indeed the Panzershreck (Tank Terror) was an equivalent to the Bazooka used on all fronts by the Allies.

Hello, well i dont use Red Orchestra actually althought i have tried it. I do think it needs the Panzershreck.

I have a Panzershreck model i made myself for another game, (also have a panzerfaust), not skinned. I can give it to you if you want. have some pictures and some research made.

About the physics, its a rocket that should not have too much lift so you could make it just like a shell. In the Bazooka the propellant was burned inside the tube, But in the PS it burned i think 2 seconds after it is launched, that why it needed a shield. So acceleration occurs in the tube and 2 seconds after, but you can take that away.

The sights can probably correct for distance (couldnt find but has to be) and has "holes" (the back part of the iron sight, dont know the name) for leading moving targets.

i found a yahoo video of a PS shot, but its a java i cant play with anything. i think i searched it as rocket, anti tank on yahoovideo

have some experience on modeling, especially guns, but i **** on skinning and animations. I also have some experience in coding Qc (quakeC, wich is the quake 1 coding language). also made a minimod about panzerfaust and ww2 weapons.
