Anyone else curious as to how that P4 got into the german HQ building? It's on the first floor by the ammo cache. Unless it was assembled in the building, I don't see any way that it could have been driven in there. -1 for realism guys, come on!(obvious sarcasm)

Imagine it an exact fit as the PIV bulldozed its way in before tossing up sandbags.

@Freshmeat.
Argh - Great minds think alike and fools seldom differ :D

I've actually seen a dude with his PIV driving in the HQ, so I'd say he came in through the front :D

like the developers have said before, you guys are taking the tiniest of things, like "How can this prop possibly fit inside here", and blowing it WAY out of proportion.

All i can say is "really guys?, does this really matter, is this going to drop you out of the experience and make you turn it off right away?".

All i can do is LOL.

It's just a light hearted thread. Besides, I think alot of us are gunning for some story/background lore about everything in the game. Compared to RO1 there's nothing. They tell you "Apartments" and "it's CQC so u better fite gud lol" compared to RO1 where the division/regiment etc and story was told.

Also, why can't map designers be considered like artists? They always explain why everything is there, and for a realism-orientated game it would be nice to have little stories behind the more interesting aspects of a map.

But to be honest I think frankly it's ridiculous, RO1 was the epitome of detail and now the the forums are flooded with new people, devs included, that keep yelling at everyone for getting obsessed about "small details". Clearly the game has taken a different approach and an entirely new market but if the weapon skins get messed up and the environment scaling is all wrong, how much more can you sweep under the rug of "its just a small detail, stop being stupid"

I honestly have nothing to complain about the game so far, other than the people shouting "not realistic enough!" I'm a long time fan of RO, I have less than 2 months to play the game before I ship off to training, so I'm going to make the best of what is here now. I would much rather be playing this than BF3 or MW3.

I noticed it immediately.....btw, there should be the space to drive it into the building....

Maybe it was placed inside the building to have much better protection and use it as a sort of "AT position".
