Had a problem with the Mg34 I was shooting a lot and overheated the barrel. I reloaded pressed 6 to change the barrel went to town with a couple more drums overheated again, reloaded pressed 6 couldnt change the barrel. went to the ammo station to get more ammo thinking it would give me another barrel but nothing I could do would let me fire again. Anyone else have input about this besides dont overheat the gun?

When the barrel overheats, it actually gets broken, theres the small text barrel is broken or something.

But if you switch your barrel before it is broken, you should be able to use the cooled down first barrel again later ;)

Yeah that's how it should work and that's how it worked in RO, so I don't see why it shouldn't be the same in RO2 as well.
Unless of course you completely destroy the barrel in which case you deserve it.

Hipster MG'r changed his barrels before it was cool. (ie, slow your pace down down, use some single-shot, let your hot barrels cool down before you put them back in)
