I hope so too. It actually encourages me to attempt to mod it though. Swell, swell indeed.

I dont have a problem directly with the accents, its more so what they are saying. I find it distracting when the dialogue bits are not only repetitious but silly, especially when playing a survival horror game.

there is too much sound spam ... ok your shooting and reloading ... I firkin know that, theirs a zed infestation, duh! You don't need to point that out every time the clips empty or when you fire a round.
The should events need to be tinkered a bit.

My problem with it is that when they yell "reloading!" every time they reload their weapons... It gets a little annoying. I get it every now and then, but its a bit ridiculous.

Reminds me of L4D, maybe they're parodying the L4D voice thingy? Cause you know, it has sounds for everything like reloading also. I mean, with all the comparison, it could be done horribly just for a joke to themselves.

there will probably be an option to turn it turn or mute them... if not at release then on a patch sometime after...

because they are extremely annouying... plus you couldnt hear the actual mics over the pre-recorded chatter...

I notice everyone chooses the guy with the gas mask.. so that may be why his voice sounds so repetitive. 10 minutes of watching gameplay, and i already find that guy's voice annoying.

Yes, incredibly annoying. Repetitive, cliched and mismatched with the visual style. Unless there's a way to toggle the voices off, I'd be looking for a mod pretty sharpish.

Incidentally, I live in London. NOBODY talks like that ;P

I find them pretty hilarious. This mod was always meant to be a little comedic.

I mean cmon guys...naked zombies with their bits and all that hanging out?(At least in the Mod version).

"Money money money" had me rofling and thinking of Family Guy / The Simpsons.

Agreed. I really recommend Tripwire at least increases the amount of time between voice events, because as you stated they are incredibly repetitive and silly.

I live in London too... most of the people where I live aren't English, so that would explain a lot!

I really like the voices. I find them amusing. Real British troops have a good sense of humour, so why shouldn't these guys...

Of all the voicecommands, "Reloading!" should stay.
It is usefull because you know who at that point cannot defend himself and needs to be covered. Even if that means you hear it a lot.

Some of the less useful stuff could be made to occur less.

Funny because all of the voice actors are from London too. One is an actual retired London police officer. And the girl that did the trader voice is from London as well. I guess we found the three people from London that don't sound like anyone else

Would you please answer if users are currently able to mute in game voice acting?

- This. It sounded like a british fireteam to me (or the movie equivalent)

And if you watch that werewolf movie, the british soldiers in there are exactly like this.

The sound like Londoners to me. I think they are top notch voices. I just think that in the vids the same samples repeat too quickly too often. Probably because you were all playing the same character?

anyway I think you've done a great job...

I live in North London btw... I presume West_Londoners sound similar! hehe
