Just tested the Game without HUD like Vaecrius did. Game looked very good, suits well. In multiplayerd there was not those health bars etc. Good athmosphere. Clear and natural if those are right words. Liked very much. Too bad you dont see chat.
For me might be enough for KF1, if there was Toggle HUD on/off key.
KF2, it might be best (imo) if there wasnt HUD at all, as an good option. But someway there must be a way to see own and others ammo-healt-armor and things like that. Chat also must be included.
Agreed. New key might would be unhandy for KF. But some other way, which suits to KF (if using no HUD).

In mid of the wave, i usually always check how many bullets (ammo) left and how many specimens left. And how many players left(anyone died?). So you can plan, if things gettin nasty, are ammo enough for you(?). This maybe unrealistic, but i like to see it.

I'm going to disagree about anything that would require me to bind a new key. This sounds very, very, very fiddly and awkward and cumbersome and [thesaurus for the previous words] in a way that might add to the feel of some other survival horror game, but one where combat is not a primary focus and the protagonist is unfamiliar with how guns work.
