I just hope they have HK416/417 beside the Scar, and not that they have the SCAR as M16 replacement if OFP2 plays in the future.

Really? That crazily? Well I learnt something today.

I would've thought that unless the force to eject the casing was generally consistant it could increase the risk of jamming and so on.

Well, the way shells are ejected is using an ejector arm and basically pulls the shell back and then it (the shell) rotates out of the breech. It ususally doesn't spin that fast, but it's never just flying out horizontal (coarse the SKS really flings and spins those shells out :p).

I've seen it happen a couple of times when our unit is practising firings stances on a firing range. Sometimes they fly out like that and make a distinct sound.

No... good UK gun laws!

Shells spin all the time! The most un-realistic Ive seen though is hells highway, where the shells emit loads of smoke on ejection!

Thats just BS!

If I have to split off a bunch of posts in this topic again because some of you guys can't stay on topic or refrain from insulting each other (or an entire country), the thread will be closed for good.

Lol, I thought most of it was in good humor though. :)

But I did have a legitimate question deleted. Is there a timetable or release date on this game yet?

I had a bit of a coming down to earth with this title yesterday when I remembered it is a cross platform title and because no one ever has made a good realistic console war simulator.

I suppose you could argue that point. But really it is fair at best, differences in the way you aim meant that the AI was an absolute son-of-a-***** and quite simply too difficult a lot of the time. Realism just doesn't work with a console controller unless you have auto-aim.

OFP Elite was quite fun! Also the graphics where a tad better than the original PC version ones. I really don

You may be right, I have to say aside from an hour or so I never exposed myself to it very much, having been playing the PC version for some time it just felt cumbersome and irritating.

The development time was quite long, but to transfer a title like OpFlash to a console would take some work. I can only speculate what OpFlash 2 is going to play like, and if the console version has features created to make it "more playable" on a console, I hope that they're removed for the PC version.
