I payed 40 euros for this game, i have the right to do so when one gets 60 fps on high settings in battlefield 3 and 20 fps on medium in RO2.

Won't stop till i get my FPS.

We are trying to help improve the game through constructive criticism, plus I don't have RO1, and I would rather try and offer ideas for making a game I paid good money for better, than pay money to revert to a previous one.

Complain-ception.

Anyway, people who paid money for the game and don't like it should have known there's a risk, but I do understand that that can be irritating. However, by repeatedly pointing out the same problems over and over again it not only doesn't make the game fix itself faster, it also doesn't change anyone's opinion on the game. I can't imagine someone saying, for example, that there's not enough sway having their opinion swayed (badoum-tsh) by any sort of argument, and vice-versa. I'm not condoning people who do the same and flame people who aren't happy. I think by now everyone is aware of the "problems" (quotes because some of these are subjective), so if you're playing you must be content to some degree. While I do agree this thread is as bad as hate threads, I also agree that if you don't like the game you shouldn't hang on the forums. Just shelve it and wait or be more cautious next purchase.

Why should we shelve it. The game promised much and didn't deliver (although I am impressed with the tanks). Also, if everyone, including the developers, are aware of the issues that have been voiced by so many, why aren't they acknowledging them? All we can hope to do is to hammer them home as much as possible until one of them goes "Hey, guess what I just realised! Allot of people are dissatisfied with X, lets change it based on these popular suggestions"

Well the roost players better complain becaus the game is not what it used to be it more like cod UO or something.

Jeez this game need way bigger maps with choke points and we or I will see more glory in the gameplay the concept is great but the maps suck or are too small.

The sdk is around to corner and I hope most kiddies go and play bf3 when it is released they gave the forum a bad overhaul.

The maps in RO2 might not entirely support the gameplay we want, but that's still more the fault of the game mechanics than the maps, imo. These very same maps (technical issues aside) would fare well enough in RO1, I think.
Anyway, what you have to keep in mind is that the maps in RO2 are recreations of actual places and in that they are amazing pieces of work and regardless of what you think about their gameplay to say they suck is simply not fair at all.

I agree with you in so far though, as that modders, with their greatly increased freedom (as they are not bound to recreate historical locations) will be able to focus on achieving a certain type of gameplay much more easily than TWI could here and it's going to be interesting to see how that will pan out.

Apart from custom content for RO2 I'm also very much looking forward to the total conversion mods like In Country Vietnam.:IS2:

About the complaining, just something I thought was funny:

Beta-Era:
It's a BETA! Obviously the full version is going to be vastly different and has every problem fixed!

Post-Launch-Era:
When the obvious became reality and the released game was far from perfect:
Just wait for TWI to fix it! They're only human! RO1 wasn't perfect when it was released either!

Early-Life-Era:
Now that we know the game was more or less intended the way it is:
Just wait for the MODS and custom content!

And now that apparently all hope has been abandoned, lol:
Stop complaining and play something else! This game isn't going to change...

Gee, vaguely referenced, general approximation of anti-complainer guy, how come you didn't tell me to stick to RO1 before but constantly tried to convince me to hop aboard the RO2 train because it was heading for awesomeness?
