Omaha beach map project need help!!

If I'm right, you're model is a bit too high poly... Good job though, it's oubvious your worked very very hard :)

I hope your not refering to my LCVP, rather Tryphon's LCA. Lallup and Nymets have my LCVP (Navy/Coast Guard, like in your sig). The one in the vid looks to be a U.S. Marine version Higgins, by far the most made of any boat, ever.

Any landing craft will be a welcome addition, and much needed for this map. Omaha is looking great, and the opening spawn will set it appart.

I actually don't know who made the LCVP we have lol. I know Postamenos is editing it to stick two M1919s on the back and we have an animator working on it. No idea where it came from. Commander Shepard just came out with it and said "look".

If I remember correctly, that LCVP was made by lallup before we had TWrecks' much better version. But when Shepard made that video he had used the LCVP that was already on the early version of the Omaha map. I too hope we get Twrecks' model into the final release. Its a real beauty

But lallup didn't know about it though lol. Messaged him about it and everything.

Hmm ok, the first version of the map he sent me in February had a bunch of low poly LCVPs on it. I thought thus model was converted to skeletal mesh and used for that video. Maybe I am out of the loop then... :confused:

@TW, if you d ont have enough Money for glasses i m willed to pay you some :) Your model Looks awesome, the rest... no comment, sry...Oh i forgot to say what s wrong, i d ont want to read that i only write **** :) . Take a Close look on the foilage, the light, the size of textures, the spawns and caps, the craplayout etc pp... and perhaps use profimodels like the TWRECKSone, perhaps it ll make the map a lot more better...

Whats you'r problem mate?
if you dont like the stuff you see just dont watch than, you want too much, just consider this is not a job for us, is a "fan" project, it is something to do on the spare time, and unfortunately not everybody have so much free time like you.. so if you want things to be perfect, if you want things to be like you want, start your project, build your models, your foliage, your textures, also stop moaning about everything and why commenting about spawn and caps if you dont even know how they will be set up lol? oh is not our fault if somehow it mess up all the screenshots when you load them in the forum, but trust me map looks much better ingame. Anyway i agree with you on some points about the quality of some things (replication here,there ext ext) since im a guy obsessed by ultrahq works , for now you cant have such a large scale map with super hipoly models 4k textures, and a different model for each house and bricks unless everybody here is playing on a 2028 pc...

Replaced a large number of the stock RS house models with buildings from the Western Front Assets package for the Viliage of Vierville.

Remember to have MG emplacements guard the bunker doors. :)
I'd also enjoy if most of the buildings in the village are accessible and windows are real and not just bitmaps. :)

I do sorta agree with that. The majority of buildings in the assets pack weren't actually meant to be looked at for more than 3 seconds.

Well there is that problem, I didn't think about, but if I'm not mistaken, all the assets aren't able to be entered, unless you add a whole inside, which is alot of work.
