Hey everyone.
I started playing WW2 Online at launch and only recently discovered Red Orchestra. I'm an Axis player who is entirely new to this game. I've been practicing in the offline mode simply to familiarize myself with the controls. I'm an experienced tactical/fps gamer. I've been gaming since Pong.
I am particularly interested in Axis units who don't mind being historically accurate. One thing that drives me crazy about WW2 Online is that historical accuracy is not allowed in the area of mentioning swastikas, Hitler or SS units. I am interested in having everything in my reality based experience, from the "good" to the "bad". I think that it is silly to sanitize/sterilize reality for the sake of political correctness.
If anyone out there has an *active* squad who uses Teamspeak/Ventrilo etc. please send me a private message here or reply to this post. I would like to find a group that has a sense of humor but can get things done. I like the social aspect of clans/squads/guilds in games and that is what makes or breaks it for me. I am not entirely against the idea of joining an Allied squad. If you have a strong sense of camaraderie and tend to have a lot of fun as a group, feel free to throw me a link or PM me as well.
