After playing a bunch I noticed my net started acting weird. Then just now as I was doing a round I finished and exited out to find that I was getting a message any time I went on youtube, reddit, or even google (some sites were fine)

DNS_probe_finished_no_internet then after I fixed that it became DNS_probe_finished_bad_config and I got it fixed by changing up my DNS settings.

I'm not 100% sure that it was from Killing Floor but figured I should post it here just in case it is an issue with the way KF2 is set up with certain internet set ups.

DNS Probe Finished Bad Config isn't a big problem. The first thing to try out is to plug in the wires properly. I find that that fixes the problem in most situations. Otherwise, the problem could be caused if the network in general is down or if your WiFi strength is failing you. Sometimes, when you're trying to access content that is banned, it can lead to this prompt too. A WiFi booster could help, as can a VPN application on your PC. I f nothing works then you gotta check out this solution : http://errorcodespro.com/fix-error-dns_probe_finished_bad_config-for-android-mac-chrome/

I was having this problem too. I kept getting DNS probe finished bad config or some error like that. I got to know from a forum online that I could clear my browser history and toggle my network connection. It didn't yield immediate effect for me, but in the second time, it did. I guess I hadn't cleared my Chrome history in quite a while. Or maybe my Mac is getting slow. I did try another solution and hopefully, it worked: https://techloris.com/dns_probe_finished_nxdomain/

Glad I got it sorted. letting others know on tripwire interactive how to solve this that it may help others.
