I recall someone mentioning that it wasn't possible to rest rifles or machineguns on the window ledges in the ruins.

Do you think it could be amended by building a brush directly under the windowsill (so that it was actually clipping inside the ruins), or adding a prop there? I've never mapped for UE3 so I have no clue about how any of it works, but I'm sure you could get away with a hacky workaround like that.

That was a great game last night, think I destroyed over 10 Panzers :D. The new sound thing is also really nice. The echoes in the ruins are great. I noticed some floating grass on the ruins. Will post a screenshot when I get home from school, haven't uploaded it on the Steam cloud yet.

Oh, could you have the sandbags in the door in the farm in Ogledow removed? Pretty easy to get some people inside and just aim for the big door and shoot ever enemy that tries to enter. Now you have to throw in a couple of nades since people can run upstairs to dodge them. With that bug you have to entry points and that makes life a whole lot easier. Getting some HE rounds in with the tank also works btw :IS2:

EDIT: Added screen of floating grass at hill and some errors I got yesterday. I also get an error message when I'm starting RO2. When I click OK I can still play RO and join Ogledow servers so it doesn't seem to have any effect. Haven't tried to verify local content on Steam yet to see if that fixes the error. Will try in a minute and post if it helped.

EDIT 2: Verifying local gamecontent didn't help.

the sanbags are there because we couldn't get out that door anyway. easier to bag it up than fix it. low priority. i've seen six-ten jump out of the barns second story a few times. i think if i were expecting death at the front door, that's how i would go out too.

got a couple bugs/suggestions.
can you fix the cement wall between allied spawn and ogledow so we can set up our guns there? i couldn't seem to find a spot to do it. also the low wall on the hill (cap zone) facing the farm. there's a few spots that you can't deploy there as well. that's kinda nitpicking, but it sucks to get shot from the farm while trying to get deployed. i guess the upper windows of hill ruins are bugged to. but i didn't get the chance to try them out. bad place to set up anyway. lousy field of view.

i guess you know about the stairs of the house in ogledow, right side of the street, facing the farm. missing textures. someone posted a screenshot.

is it possible to enable the at guns to work? there's one on the left of the allied spawn. i was really hoping it would work earlier tonight. is it a hassle to delete it if you don't want it working? or make it look destroyed?

on the hill, the fireplace. this is really nitpicking (a sign that your'e real close to being done) when you try and walk over the two sandbags at the fire, you get stick and have to go around. easy fix to make it like real life? pick up your feet and step over the bags and fire?

my biggest peeve about the map right now, it's too short! i'm just getting warmed up and someone caps all three objectives. i'm not sure what the best way to handle that is. slower capping? maybe one or two more cap zones? straight-up time limit? like 15-20 minutes? whatcha think?

oh yeah, one more thing. there was NO hot coffee in the officers tent and my borscht was WARM!

You could still prone out of that door. My point is, that you now only have one entrance left and that is pretty easy to defend. I know it's a kind of a temporary fix but I'd rather have it the way it was.

@your other post: I also get stuck sometimes on some object near the fire at hill. Can't remember what it is though, it's like hitting an invisible wall, like at that barn door. Covernodes at the windows of the ruins will also be appreciated. Really frustrating when you see a tank driving down the hilll and you can't shoot it because you can't deploy your AT rifle.

Sometimes the match seems to be over quite fast. Not sure if it's just me or the game, but sometimes the team I am on capped 2 of the 3 objectives, the Axis capture one and suddenly we lost. I will pay some attention for this. Normally the matches seem pretty long to me (compared to RO2 vanilla that is).

I don't have much to add to the above. I noticed a few missing textures - mostly in Ogledow I think - the one on the steps as shown in screen shot, and also one of the buildings on the left side of the road (when approaching from Allies spawn) as you enter Ogledow, has missing textures on/near it's roof, at least on the side that points in towards the road.

I didn't actually get stuck on anything last night while tanking, and the locations where it did happen on previous nights have already been noted (couple of spots in Ogledow, something near the fire on the Hill).

Given the amount of work you had to do to get this beast working in RO2, you've done a great job :) I suppose at some point I really should play infantry on Ogledow - but I'm enjoying my introduction to tanking too much right now :) lol

Thanks Six_Ten for the excellent work. Have installed B4 on a test server, will have it running in the rotation on our TE server tomorrow.

Major drawback at the moment is lack of redirect for downloads. Can anyone from TWI confirm the release date for this?

I would recommend against putting it in a regular rotation, on the grounds that anyone who doesn't have the map will not be able to connect and since there is no redirect they'll be stuck in download limbo.

For example, Friday night you have a full server. Half the guys ahve the map the others do not. When Ogledow comes up in the rotation, those who have it will be able to play, the others will all seem to be downlaoding, but never will get the map, they'll just put load on the server and will not be able to play.

For now we have enough servers running the map 24/7. Everyone just join one of the existing so we can get some full games.
