Okay, so I've owned this game for a year and have played 348 hours of near flawless gameplay the only issues I encountered were (D3D Errors and Configuration file issues) easily fixable. When I had to reformat my PC in early August I reinstalled steam and then reinstalled Rising Storm. This is where I began experiencing seemingly random crashes. They either happen at the very start of the game right after I select a role. Or about 5-10 minutes in game, and crashing on the next round change or when the map rotates to a new one and I pick a team, role, wait for spawn in. This never affects the tutorial missions, so its an online only problem. I found this thread http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=70683 that describes constant crashes that I would describe as my issue. Since this posting was back in 2011 and this game and its files have long changed since then, I need to know what files that aren't listed on that thread that I need to delete. I followed the directions on that thread and my Rising storm crashes while Red Orchestra 2's maps/multiplayer portion is a lot more stable now. If anyone or a tripwire employee could respond to this thread with a more detailed list of files that could be corrupted and Steam having me download them everytime I reinstall the game, this would be really helpful.

Thanks for Reading!

Turns out it never had anything to do with corrupted game files, I ended up putting over 10 hours of searching/ fixing to try and get this game to work. The real issue with Rising Storm that I was encountering was the memory cap the game is apparently locked to us, and it was strangling itself to use less, even though I had more then enough to run it. Simply running Cmd as administrater and using the command bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVA 3072 allowed it to work. I had previously used this long before my purchase of RO2/RS when I had tried to play PlanetSide 2 On release.

If you're suffering from constant and seemingly random occurring crashes on many maps, please attempt this command. There is more information about it on http://windows7themes.net/en-us/32-...a-to-increase-ram-used-by-single-application/
