servers with achievements enabled will have a gold star next to the server name on the left hand side. the server must have 16 real people in it for the stats to count towards achievements.
the filters don't work so don't even bother. just sort the servers in your browser by players and click on them to see if the numbers are in fact real players....takes a little extra time, but once you find the popular servers add them to your favorites to make it easier next time around.

Are you saying the filters are broken.
I noticed this only recently. Now when I refresh my list a server will show for example, 10 people playing but no names show up below. Then when I click on that server it goes to zero. Others will show a 162 player server. Seems the whole thing is messed up.
Now I only started playing RO again so I checked for updates, defragged the game cache, verified the integrity... short of reinstalling and it still does the same thing.

I get the same thing, its a bit annoying as it means I tend to use just my fave servers.
Shows all servers as wrong amount of players.
Its a shame as I dont try new servers as much,having to click on each one to sort out if anyones on or not

I don't think my question is a joke. BTW no one has given a satisfactory answer to my question. What are the achievments? Where are they posted? etc?...
Also, Tripwire has not updated their 'news' for 6 months! I wonder if they have looked at their map listing to see any of the problemxs we have with it.

Achievements are a pointless pissing contest that has crossed over from the consoles.There is a page somewhere which lists the ones you have if you can be bothered to look for it.

As for player counts...
Click the internet tab and then sort on all internet servers... highest numbers will be on top and the number of players is wrong. Some servers show 100's of players. Highlight the first server and then using the down arrow, repeatedly hit down until you get to the zero populated servers. Everytime you hit a server the number of players is corrected. Highlight a few that interest you, right click and select 'add to favorites'.
In the future, select the favorites tab...quick way to see which servers are populated when you fire up RO in your time zone. Good Luck!
