Had to redownload the MasterServer lists again. Not really complaining (well, I would, but to BT, not TWI), but a bit weird.

I have to replace the Steam MasterServer files every time I play....well when I used to play this game anyway.

Odd.

Since the last patch.... or at least last night, my game continually disconnects from servers, seconds after joining.

I had this problem before and with ost and KF, but I thought I fixed it.... now I have to remember where I go to find that Steam patchy thing-er-meh-bob.

Sounds like a possible punbuster error to me. I woud start by using the pb updater.

Since the latest patch all my settings were gone somehow and I could reconfigure everything but I cannot move any sliders in any of the option menus i.e. music volume, mouse sensitvity etc. I can change everything else but the sliders register the mouse cursor by changing coulours but I am unable to slide them in any direction.
Any suggestions and where do I find the .ini to change this?

Try setting them to read only.

Now you mention it, Prax, I'm still not able to get the list of servers normally even doing this: I'm just relying on using 'recently played' to get to Brothers or the Para server. So I do have the same problem, but simply hadn't noticed,

That's what I'm suffering from now.... posted this in the bug report a little while ago today. I'm having to copy them back over after every match in order to play again.... it's really twisting my testicle.

I won't quit playing or go into some rage.... I'm sure it'll get fixed soon.... but it's still annoying.

I've just set the files to read only before I posted my bug report, but the other problem is that my server list now takes around a minute before it starts to show me a server list, so dunno what that's about, but I couldn't be bothered to wait around to see if it worked beyond a match.

Will try again later.
