I'd say $20.00 USD but that's a guess.

Probably won't be in stores.

The only SP is practice mode with bots.

Only one MP mode in the mod, Ostfront might have more though?

  • The price is unknown, although, like Reddog said, most guesses are around $20
  • No it will not be in stores.
  • RO is pretty much a multiplayer-only game, there won't be a single-player campaign, but there will probably be an offline practice mode with bots.
  • I wouldn't say there are multiple gameplay modes, but the specific object of the game may vary depending on the map. In general, there are maps where both sides are attacking each other, and maps where one side is attacking and the other is defending.
  • You should be able to host a server offline, like for a lan party or the like (I not sure about this one, steam might have a problem with it, but you'd have to get a dev to answer that one)

Welcome :)

Price will be announced a little while before Ostfront goes on sale.

In-store also - if we have a deal we believe in, in sufficient time we would have it in-store at the same time. However, one of the key advantages to delivery via Steam (for the game and for any updates/patches) is speed. We can go from Gold to people playing in a matter of hours...

Single-player will be for practise mode, not a huge single-player campaign thing.

Multiplayer modes: there are different types and styles of objectives on different maps, if that is what you mean.

Offline LAN support - stupidly, I'll have to check on that!

I know for LANs that I run with my friends we always try to do them online becuase Steam is just happier that way. In theory you can do it in Steam offline mode, however it is not always guaranteed work properly.

I dont know about ROO's specs but thats the deal with steam from a user perspective.

A cousin of mine has Steam loaded on two computers at work. When online, he can only have one active when he plays CS. In offline mode, he can run them two copies of CS playing against each other.

So if it's the same kidn of authentication, probably yes. Which would be nice.

Welcome new people :)

And remember that if you at any point run in to RedStorm in a server you should slide your bayo into his back ;)
