Picked up the game during the Hillbilly Horror 2012 event. At first I was like "WTF? I have to pay for ammo and guns? And no piles of unlimited ammo like in L4D?" But the game was just so damn charming that I had to keep playing.

The first free weekend way back in the day.

Biotics Lab. I was playing a lot of L4D1 at the time. Used L4D1 principals in Killing Floor, died during Wave 1. Got pissed off and exited the game.

Bought it and 500 hours later, still playing.

I remember buying it because there was some deal with RO2 or something.. I think it was the Uniforms, and thought i would give it ago.

Loved it as soon as i played it, had not played anything like it, all FPS's i had played the enemys shot back, this one didnt which makes it a strange game.

I cant remember my exact first time, but i found it thrilling, the waves slowly getting harder, I was very skittish when playing, and looking up to level 6's in awe!

I bought it for my brother, and what we noticed was that we would look out for each other and try and save each other if we got in trouble....problem was it always, always involved both of us getting killed, it is like some brotherly obligation to not leave them behind.

Do you still remember the first time you played with KF? How it was? What was the worst thing you did? :D

I remember very well my first online game on KF, it was on WestLondon Normal, I remember that I found a LAR on the ground and I noticed I could kill Clots easily. I thought "OMG THIS THING EFFIN' ONESHOT THING I'M TEH BEST". Useless to say that I died after the first ambush of Gorefasts.
Also, I was using the LAR with Support Specialist :D

i remember my first match as if it just was yesterday, it was on suburbia, when i justs spawned it was the patriarch round i ofcourse didnt knew **** what to do against him, everyone died exept for me, until the patriarch came after me i was trying to kill him (dunno with wich gun anymore i think with a wep i found) and he did a load **** of damage at me, the others who were dead were yelling at me to heal myself but i havent set the selfheal button at that moment so i was running away from him until he catches me in and kills me and everyone was like pist off on me and was calling me a noob, man that is something il never forget good old starting times :p.

Every single time I start up the game is a noob memory ;_;

I do remember parts of my first game though. It was during the Halloween event of '11, and one of my American friends had gifted me a copy. I started downloading it, and while I was doing that I decided to have a drink. Then another. And another. Etc. By the time the game was installed, it was 4 in the morning, I was suitably intoxicated, and they were ready to watch me fail. So once I managed to get the game to open (my computer at the time would just die if the game wasn't in windowed mode), they sent me an invite, and I found myself on West London, Hard. It was wave 5 by the time I joined as a Sharp, and they threw me some dosh and a Lar once I found my way to the trader. Using the dosh, I did what any sensible person would do, and bought a shotgun. Soon after, I found myself facing off against a Bunny lifting a Chainsaw above his head.

The shouts and cries of "Capt, don't shoot that!", and "Leave it, please!", soon faded into the background, as this rush of confidence came over me. "I can do this", I thought to myself, and switched my pathetically weak Lar out for my powerhouse Shotgun. I looked the beast in rhe eye, raised my Shotgun, and only one question came to my mind.
"Are you feeling lucky, Punk?"
Apparently the Pink, Chainsaw-wielding Bunny-Man was. He charged me down, killed me and someone else, before he was finally put down.

Fast forward 2 waves, and I found myself looking at Frankenstein. Now by this stage I knew that the Bunny-Men were dangerous, so I avoided them like the plague, but I was sure that my team mates cries of "Oh God no!" were overrated. So needless to say I charged it down with my shotgun and dual Handcannons. 2 minutes later, the team was dead, I was tired, and the game was sh*t.

If only I had known...

ooh man you have witnessed halloween sideshow 2011? man that was a golden age, something i can just dream about.
