No trader path

Hi, I just started playing Killing Floor.

I got a problem with my trader path. I am sure I got it enabled but it doesn't show up near the end of the wave. I have never seen it show up.

Somebody knows how to fix this?

It doesn't show up until the wave is actually over, not during the end of the wave.

If it's still not showing up, what maps does this occur on? It's possible that if you're playing a 3rd party map, the level designer didn't put sufficient path nodes in yet.

I just played the standard maps that you get when installing the game.

I got this game today so I only tried the solo mode.

I dont get it when the wave is over. I do see the timer, but no trader path.

Try to look in your settings, there's a box that you need to check if you want the trader path or not. Hope this will solve your problem.

I tried the multiplayer today, I did get the red arrow and the red line. I dont know why I dont get it when solo playing at maps like Bedlam and WestLondon.

Could be that there's a file that got botched up somewhere in the download process. It happens sometimes. If it really bothers you, just reinstall KF. If not, let it be.

I already tried to reinstal and download from steam with a other location.

Still, I never see the red arrow and line when playing Solo mode.

have you tried to verify the integrity of the game cache?

I tried that, still not working.
After that I tried to defragment cache files, still not working.

But when I reinstalled, all the options were the same as before I uninstalled. The first time I installed it was a windowed mode 800x600. I changed that to 1440x900 full screen. The 2nd time I installed it was still at 1440x900.

So I think there might be some more files that wont be deleted when I reinstall.

I think there might be something wrong then. Whenever I had problems that got fixed via un/reinstall, all my settings were reset to their original settings. Like with full screen.

Problem solved.

Uninstalled, then I found out there was still a Killing Floor map in my steam folder. Deleted it and downloaden again.

Now it work fine.

this thread might be old but just to give solution, if solo the trader doesnt show the arrow, it means you have tampered with the map configuration in the solo tab under "mutators".
if you put " no trader" in the "active mutator list"....thats the reason why.remove it and your trader will be back in solo mode. no need reinstall.
