It was a pretty easy was to fix em it RO1 by swaping some game files, so I guess same can be done here. And I hope it's gonna be fixed in some upcoming patches.

Yeah, also the sign "|" would be nice. Our little steam clan has it in the beginning of the tag and both Killing floor and RO2 makes one show up as just | (or I, as it looks like...) when in game. (May be true for RO:OST as well.) A bit bothersome to change the steam name all the time. (
