change download regions. I live in Germany an use Poland mostly. Germany and England are usually slow on free weekends and massive gamereleases. Netherlands and Belgium are not really fast as well. Go to settings and downloads and change the region in steam.

Is it just me or does the game not shut down correctly?
Every time I quit, the steam messenger keeps saying I'm still in game.

i get the same thing, all you need to do is ctrl, alt, dlt and shut down killing floor from there.

the new gameplay is amazing, only problem is achievements for new maps arent working on solo or on hosted servers and i freeze everytime i deploy to the next map

Is Tripwire aware that many of us can't play Killing Floor at all since this latest update? If yes, Is there a possible fix on the way?

Much Better

Much Better

I'm glad to see most of the bugs have been worked out of the UPNP support. I can host games again! :)

However, mentioning that there is an INI setting to disable UPNP without actually telling us what it is seems kind of pointless. Where is this setting? I have done a fair amount of searching though these forums and the INI file itself and I can't find it anywhere.

the fact that you do not know what it is/does means that you probably do not need to concern yourself with it.

I do not know specifically what it is but I believe it is a compatibility setting for working with certain network settings. I think that UPNP=universal plug and play, and relates to routers (in this context). If you are able to connect fine then I would ignore it.
