Not that the thread is about suggestions, but I think the patriarch should have another hand "hit" animation with a similar push effect instead of that ridiculous tentacle but it doesn't bother me overly much lol.

I guess the contrary would mean that they tell you nothing, and people become disenchanted at further content additions.

And btw, it's not DLC...it's a patch.

I would think "maybe" to be the ultimate deception. It IS coming, soon.

And more often than not, in the brief Tripwire history, "patches" = bugfixes and content additions.

DLC automatically implies that it is optional. This forthcoming release...isn't optional.

However, i still argue that "soon" is more deceptive than "maybe" simply because "soon" gives hope as to "maybe".

"Maybe" makes you not expect anything and thus there is no reason to be frustrated by impatience.

"Maybe" doesn't make any sense in the context of their announcement, though. "Maybe" means, "We might give you a content update, or we might not...".

The content update is definitely coming, there is no "maybe" about it, we just have to remain patient until it comes.

As a former Warcraft player, I will leave you with this. Just sub in "Tripwire" wherever you see "Blizzard Entertainment".

I have it on good authority that the release day of the patch will the next day after the day that was before the day after the following day that was after the next.
