No support on steam? i need crash help please.

so i have 535 hrs in rs2 but am now experiencing a game freeze /crash.
It freezes my entire PC after about a min or so after game launch whether in a map or not.
Have to hard reboot to do anything.
My rig is more than capable of running this at full tilt so am well bemused as to why it would freeze.
Anyone have any ideas?
