Where is the game that was, in theory, supposed to allow me to play with more than 25-30fps and without stuttering? Are the new ATI drivers supposed to fix this, or is this a universal problem across some GPUs?

Nah, I'd rather have proper preformance appropiate for my system. If I had to choose between the two.
But yes, both the performance and the server browser are a bit of a letdown.
Totally agree. I can't seem to get a server with a ping lower than 100ms, but then when I refresh it will give me one with 80ms, then it would disappear.

Every tripwire game I've played has had the same piss-poor server browser with this same exact problem of not being able to actually load any of the servers after you join one of them. Seriously, it happened in RO1 and it happened in Killing Floor, I really hoped it would be fixed by now.
Get a better computer? My game runs fine with ATI gpu
Well not only is this rubbish feedback, but there are plenty of people with high-end rigs that are having performance issues.
To the OP, I'd try to stay patient. They've fixed the performance issus for some players, so a fix for the rest of us should be in development as we speak. My performance isn't as good as it should be, but then again it isn't as bad as some peoples so I'm not really in the same boat.
If you read some other threads you would know that these performance issues are happening to people with high end pc's not just average computers.
I honestly don't see a difference between the full game and the beta. I still get bugs like double iron sights or being completely unable to move after deploying an MG or AT rifle in prone position.
I paid $40 for a game I can barely run...useless topic? Maybe. Warranted topic? Absolutely.
It seems that you are enjoying the game, so I suggest you trot along and stop ruining my fun on the forums, because making annoying topics is the only thing I have fun doing now.
The best part is the mods are deleting the dis-satisfied customer threads. Especially these dealing with FPS problems.
