No Finnish Servers?

After playing this whilst working in Australia, return home to Finland to crap internet and no local servers.

Are there any Finns playing this?? If I can't find a decent local server (strange that even RU servers are crap pings to me but that is wireless for you) I might have to forgo RO all together not to mention any other MP experience.

Very sad as with the new Graphics Card and my desktop system, RO2 is a sweet looking experience but just not playable with 300+ ingame ping.

Me very sad.

There are 3 finnish servers or so

Muropaketti has one, can't remember the other 2. Sort by ping and you'll find 'em.

(They aren't that good btw, hardware is lacking.)

Yeah - a bit of a bummer about quality of servers. And for some reason 3G internet just doesn't do much for us here.

Pity that I can't seem top get decent access to other EU/RU servers considering the distances which are compared to servers in Australia which cover an area the size of Europe yet can get good access to them from one side of the country to the other.

Who'd have though.

Thanks for the links guys. Main problem stems from only having access to 3G internet connection using Saunalahti. I don't see many hardcore servers with ping lists much under 200 which seems to translate to 300+ ping in game.

Very frustrating to play. I don't know what I can do to better my connection and ADSL is not an option. I can still play but makes it much harder in close combat as I always come out 2nd best in a reflex kill situation.

I hear you. I'm also stuck with 3g living out in the country here in sweden. Turpasauna gives me a ping of 50-60 usually but it feels like a relaxed realism server (haven't checked really, but it has killcam) so I stick to german/italian/uk-servers which tend to have good ping and population.
Worst problem with my connection is that I live by a lake crossed by railroad tracks. The signal mast is on the other side so every time a train crosses my connection drops :D
I'd love to play with more finns since my family is all finnish. Alone in being born in sweden. Hurri-saatana :(

Hello, Im the owner/admin of PurePwnageGaming Finland server, And you are right on most servers lacking hardware but as its said in our banner we host our own server and for your information its running on a standalone rackserver with intel xeon E5620 with 6gb of ram and hooked up with 1gb of bandwidhth.. And someone also asked about no Finnish Countdown server ? We now have one named PurePwnageGaming Finland Countdown
