No Bayonet in RO2? I pre-purchased DDE & Own RO1 before

I don't know if this has been posted yet, but I am still not able to use the Bayonet in game. I pre-purchased RO2 DDE and owned RO1 before I pre-purchased the game. I see people using it though.

While I am here, is there an eta on the 4 weapon unlocks?

the dde day 1 unlocks are messed up, as well as stat tracking at the minute. Some players have their stats being tracked and are progressing, while most of us are stuck without. They said they are working on it in another post and will have stats working again.

I don't know if this affects our day 1 unlocks though, but it should imo. It would make sense for them to just reset stats when they fix the bug and start over which would give us our d1 unlocks and give us our couple day advantage over others.

We are aware of this issue and are working hard to fix it quickly.

Okay, I understand that the d1 unlocks are messed up, but how come I still do not have access to the Bayonet from owning RO1, or the badges for that matter?

they kind of tie in the with day 1 unlocks.... Why would you receive d1 unlockables for owning RO-OST and not day 1 unlockables for preordering the DDE package? Sorry if that came off a bit sarcastic, but honestly now. They're definitely working on it and you will receive your bayonet when they fix the stats progression and day 1 unlockables.

I understand, but how come other people have access to the bayonet already? My friend is playing right next to be and he has it on his account. I also see other people playing with it in the game.

rather its if you own ro1 not the dde you get the bayos otherwise you have to unlock them. (idk how many times ive said this musta been over a hundred.) but you also own ro1 so that means that you got screwed by a bug. thats life. i have full confidence they will fix it. just be patient and enjoy the game.

It's a bug bro. Unfortunately like me, you got shafted by the bug and received none of your unlockables. Maybe they had them since the beta, and when the game went live they were not removed from their profiles. I'm honestly not sure but we will definitely get them soon within a day or two I'd imagine.

He owns RO-OST dude, he said that already and said he doesnt have his bayo. That puts him in the same situation I'm in, no DDE unlocks (I don't own RO-OST so I know I don't get access to early bayo's but if he doesnt either and hes got RO-OST than he must be in the same boat I am)

I can't comment on the badges because I can't see my body ever, but I did get my bayo even though my stats are screwed.

Glad to know that me buying RO1 and DDE gave me nothing besides access to a broken beta. Hope Tripwire stays true to their roots and gets this game patched. I only convinced 6 of my friends to buy RO2 DDE. Now I am looking bad too

Yeah, so far I've seen everyone using them in the server I am in. Yet, I do not own the Bayonet.

I love how you jump to conclusions. I don't care what you or anyone says, but when you advertise something, it should be included with the release. TWI should double check and make sure the advertised products are included.

However, on a side not. Tripwire is still my favorite developer. Just a little disappointed though.

So you're saying, you're looking bad in front of your friends because you've made them buy a great game that doesn't feature the promised unlocks yet. So why would you look bad? Because your friends also care so much about day 1 unlocks? Or they feel like they've been cheated out of a few bucks, because they don't get the unlocks right away? Chances are once the stats start working, they'll be reset. So you'll still be cool and have a bayonet before the people who don't own RO1.

You promised them a great game and they got a great game, albeit as you stated, a great game that's not polished enough yet.

Thought you were just referring to the unlocks though. Game really does need a bunch of bug fixes, but so far the bugs haven't stood in the way of me enjoying the game. It's a real shame a lot of people don't even seem to be able to either get the game started or have decent FPS.

Ah well, I think they'll fix the unlock/stats within the next few days.

I sure hope so. The random FPS drops along with the occasional crash makes this game a little irritating to play at times. I just finished a good 2h run, and will tweak my settings a little more tomorrow to maximize the game until patches get released.

So if I dont get my pre order items and have to unlock them.... whats the point of the day 1 pre order items? I mean its bad advertising. Will we get compensated in any way for such a bad launch?

so it's a random bug? I have mine...although I miss the [alt] key to put it on.
