This is what we got after six pages of wondering what could be implemented had TWI decided to make a ninja-based perk.

Ninja Perk

Weapons: Ninja stars and katana.
T1 weapon: 1 ninja star
T2 weapon: 2 ninja stars
T3 weapon: Katana
Bonuses:
"Standard" bonuses (higher damage, faster reload, less recoil...);
Alt-fire switches between 2 and 1 ninja stars(depends on how simple it is to code this);
+X% ammo capacity;
+X% Higher damage during ZEDtime.
Niche:
Versatility-based perk. Weapons that can do anything, from dealing low damage to a high number of zeds, to dealing a lot of damage to a single zed.Keep in mind that a ninja will be outshined by perks intended to fit a role (For example, he can do some decent crowd-control, but a Firebug will outshine him)
Leveling:
Level by dealing ninja damage, and/or;
Killing Zeds during ZED-time with blades.
Weapon Stats:

Tier 3 - Katana
Headshot damage multiplier: 1.2x
Damage: 1000~2000per swing
Fire rate: 0.5
DPS: 1000~2000
Ten-Second Damage Output (TSDO) (with reloads): 10000~40000

AA12's TSDO: 5250
M14 EBR TSDO: 4000~4150
M32's TSDO: 2100
SCAR's TSDO: 3075~3485
Flamethrower's TSDO: 1200 + burn damage.

Yes, if the katana is implemented this way, it'd have a higher damage output on time than the SCAR, but it has a cool perk to go with it so you'd look at yourself being awesome after one swing. It's the cost of being a ninja.

I've voted both since the poll is set up wrong.

Although I'll be honest, some kind of ninja perk could be pretty cool.

Hey, look! Someone's being a idiot!

Let me point it out in an overly obnoxious way.

Please keep this thread on topic.

Now, I can understand that you have a dislike for this perk but that doesn't mean it can't be versatile.

I'd appreciate it if you kept your negative comments to yourself regarding the development of this perk. The community is really interested in what I have to say about it and would prefer it if I kept replying with long winded posts so that my thread keeps getting bumped to the top.

Please, in the future read the entire thread and think about the niche that the Ninja could fill.

It has higher DPS than the scar, but don't worry, it is a new perk and people will love it.

The poll is set up that way so that people can change their mind and nullify their vote.

Thank you for keeping this thread on topic, and I appreciate you and your contributions.

Also, remember that the katana when swung has higher DPS than the scar, but it's ok because that is how versatile the perk is.

It's one thing to make a new thought out suggestion, think about balancing issues, how the perk would behave. And respond idiotic posts with equally idiotic replies.

It's another to blatantly copy my first post replacing Gunslinger with Ninja, and thinking this is criticism.

Again, please keep this on topic, even though the katana has higher dps than the scar, it is ok because Ninja's can not be seen.

19 views already guys! It is obvious that the people want the Ninja!

15 of those "views" were me refreshing the page.

Also, if you have a problem with the way I replied to your "comments" on my thread, then please, do it through PMs.

I don't care how stupid people are, most of the time they don't deserve a warning.

It is pretty clear to me that I may have gotten you sad about how I replied to you.

And if you believe that I act all that time with everyone that offers "negative" posts, you're wrong. Try and read the last page of my thread, just to see how wrong you are.

I don't know what you are talking about, but please do it through PM's.

I want the Ninja to be a separate perk and fill a special niche. Remember, that even though the katana would do higher dps than the scar, it is ok because it has the LPS(lol per second) of 100.

As much as I value your opinion regarding the Ninja, I have to ask you again brphoenix, to keep the thread on topic.

Spamming my idea thread is grounds for an infraction. Please refrain from posting useless images of people getting hit by trees in the future.

Looking forward, please keep in mind that even though the katana has higher DPS than the scar that the ninja will NOT be able to kill clots as easily.
