Woah, now that is one epic finale. The German shooting him with the pistol as he turns around.


I noticed however two things that bothered me a bit in this video. Most importantly the somewhat bad ragdoll when he kills the first German at the stairs (the rest looked fine, especially that long shot at the end with the slow death) and the silenced revolver... Not sure what to think about that, but I guess server options will save the day :D

Edit: Something else that I noticed and like is the timer, which seems to appear by itself when needed, like it did when there were left 4 mins or at the last 30 secs or so. And the SVT looks amazing :D


My favourite thing of all though has to be the bullet holes in the walls, there might be a lot of them but it still looks nice with all the different sizes and shapes. Makes you understand the amount of work on textures (instead of effects) and also the need to in-game recorded footage instead of a camera :p

One thing bothers me, 2nd video, 4:30. Battlefieldish spawn system looks awkward in RO. Friendlies popping out from nowhere on your screen, I had hopes that TWI can avoid that major mistake of modern FPS shooters.
It looks retarded and ruins original Red Orchestra gameplay. Looking forward for video from Red Orchestra/realism mode.

Remember that these guys were playing an early build and in firefight mode - making a general judgement based on certain stuff like that is not a good idea.

Also they were very sneaky filming that while I was talking to another journalist at the far end of the row of tables :eek:

Eh...I'm buying the game regardless but with RO I felt like I was shooting a rifle and what not...the weapon models and animations for first person look pretty cheesy to be honest. I'm not trying to troll or anything, seriously, and I am aware that this isn't the final build but..I am a little unimpressed with the animations and models for first person view. They don't have that "human interaction" with them like in RO and the skins look way too "clean" and simple... :/
