New weapons Ideas

Yeah I kinda registered here just to say this, came to my head recently.
(it's a little bit weird but it could work as some sort of horizone-experimental weaponry)

The Fleshpound (ermm, how is that thing called, fleshpounder? xD )

Turned into a chainsaw-ish that could hit or spin, or something. (Should be a special weapon for the Bersker probably)

And the Fireball launcher from the Husk, well, yeah, the same thing, turned into a human-wieldable weapon.

Just wanted to share that with you guys, what do you think about it? :p

you might want one of these, with all the weapon suggestions as of late, i think you are gonna get flamed.

I'd be curious to know how you think that any of the classes could carry those objects though, the FP and Husk are ~7 - 8 feet tall by the looks of it and their weaponry is some pretty heavy stuff.

Either way this WOULD be an intresting addon to the firebug, who is in despirate need of a new weapon, and .. well .. not so much for the zerk because I actually remember their attitude when they had a katana that ate zeds for breakfast, giving them another weapon that does that all over again... dosent seem smart imo...( and also too much like the chainsaw)

Actually, There's already a 5-star topic about giving zerker a fp glove (or a pair). I I must say, I love that idea. Totally original. Maybe a smaller version, that's okay. Primary take 2~3s to rev it up and smash forward. Keep the alt-fire to keep rev it up but slow you down, say, 50% and you can not rev it for longer than 20s.

And Husk gun. Well, that's one heck of an idea. Because Husk gun = flame thrower + grenade launcher.

I dunno. FP s meatblender thingys... Quite nice idea. They could have that slowly (or fast on Zerker) regenerating meter (like on Welder and healing syringe) Bio666 got quite nice description about it.

I don't say anything about Husk gun. I still think that it would be better if firebug gets flaming explosives (I don't remember the right word right now.)

All weapons the humans have, with the exception of the magical syringe and welder, are pretty grounded in reality.
How would scifi meat grinder gloves and a fireball spewing fantasy gun blend into that in any way?

New weapons should be realistic. Right now there's a fine distinction between the realistic player weapons and the unrealistic zombies, which most players would like to keep.

Give the zerk a spiked ball and chain or heavy axe that he can swing 360 with alt-fire, hitting all nearby enemies (did anyone play Aliens vs Predator arcade?). A normal swing would be faster and hit all enemies in a 45 degree arc (except crawlers, unless aimed downwards). It would do less damage against single targets than the katana but the area damage would be ideal for groups of weaker enemies, and clearing specs when surrounded. It would have to be strong enough to kill weaker specs in one hit for high lvl zerk. It would be an expensive tier 3 melee weapon, and could also have knockback.

Incendiary Handcannon ammo for firebug.
