Ohh. So by saying that pistols aren't meant to be head-shooting guns, they are meant to be dual body-shooting spam guns?
Sorry, i don't like this perk idea at all. There's enough rambos on the servers and all we need now is bunch of cowboys?
And still some people don't like it, 62,5% - vote yes, ain't 100%.
(Now u thinking that they didn't read the tread don't u? No. Everything always depends on people. Some like the idea because they like everything new, hell they would even vote for superman perk. Others realize that this would conflict with other perks and would look stupid or wouldn't fit the game.)
It won't be implemented so just forget it. (im just saying)

Now you've further proven that you haven't read the thread.
Take your time, read it one page per hour, and you'll notice the gunslinger perk would be FAR from a rambo-enabled perk.
Every single aspect has been taken into account when suggesting the idea. What each role his weapons would play, how an ideal gunslinger would play, and how to balance it out so as to not be too powerful, nor too weak.
If you read the thread, you'd see the gunslinger perk is not about adding a new playstyle, but instead condense every single one into a single player, making him versatile.
His 9mm (single and dual) would be both his backup weapon and his crapcrowd-controller (clots/crawlers/stalkers)
His single HC would be a ranged medium-target killer (husks, bloats, sirens).
His dual HC would be a single target, medium to high DPS.
His revolver would be the long-range, powerful zed "killer" (scrakes, FPs)
Why "killer"? Because it lacks the firepower to do it.
If you read the thread, you'll notice all we've tried it combining versatile and balanced. Why handguns? Because they're the true versatile weaponry - ranging from peashooters to MOAB (mother of all bullets), high RoF and low RoF - while also being backup weaponry, meaning they have severe drawbacks.
One that can handle a revolver is at home using a handgun. This however does not apply to sniper rifles and shotguns, for example. Hence why it's truly versatile, and the only one that makes sense to be truly versatile.
