Horzine M7A3 Medic Rifle

Now that I have fixed all the problems of the MK23, Jack Carver and me decided, that it was time to work on a new weapon.
We thought the medic needs an aditional weapon in his inventory. So here's the M7A3.
You guys can expect something soon ;)!!

Heck i can tell you one thing: The creation of this weapon won't take that long. It's no pistol so 60% faster :D.

looks outstanding! again very impressed with your guys' work. the mk23 SHOULD already have been officially added to the game. i again have high hopes for this idea.

out of curiousity, will this gun also have a dart attachement like the mp7 for the medic to use? there was a very interesting concept going around in some other "medic guns" threads which brought up the idea of having a dart that could either slow down zeds or a dart that would give adrenaline boosts to humans. what that be something you have the ability to create, or if somebody else could create them, could you get those attachments on this new gun?

My guess is that it'll be like a sniping-dart for the medic.

I like how the medic seems to be heading in the direction of high-tech experimental weapons...

This thing has a zoom scope, does it not? :confused:

that would be even more fun with a m203, just add it on via the picatinny rail.

lol, secondary fire of it could be a healing grenade, a cloud of fix-em-up nanobots, unfortunately the zeds get healed too.

TWI ought'a take high quality weapons like these and have them use the same stats as other already in game weapons to add variety while keeping work an' balancing issues to minimum.

Can't wait to try this baby. After i've seen what piece of art the MK23 is. I'd love to see a replacement for the MP7M. Even if it's only semi-automatic and kicks like a mule (think SCAR without commando perk).

It's 15000 atm because of the medic discount and it will not replace any weapon. Imo the mag count is fine with 15 shots or maybe 20, but the medic also gets high cap mags when leveling up. Otherwise the weapon might get too powerfull.
Of course this rifle will have a healing dart and the scope is supposed to be a green reflex sight but the idea of a hightech zoom scope is nice too.

Looks really awesome. Whats the polycount? Any chance of a wireframe screen? I see some parts that still need some smoothing and whats going on with the right side of the handle near the trigger? Looks like a vert or edge got moved or rotated by accident. You also might want to dirty up the gun a bit, texture looks to clean to me but it also looks like default materials too, so idk.

Looking foward to this, can't wait to see the final product.

Hey, thank you for the nice posts, i already finished the scripts and now i will start to rig the rifle, maybe next week there be the first beta, but i am not shure because of the textures. I have to find some high quality textures, but it wont take as long as the Mk23 xD

I think I already found some good textures :D... So things ain't looking bad. (skype). And animating wont take me more then a day.
