New Weapon for level 5 Perks

I think it would be cool if you could get a new level-5-perk-only weapon for each perk. Or maybe not a new weapon, but some sort of customized version of a weapon that's used for that class. Like maybe a pair of Glock 22s (40 cal's) for a lvl 5 sharpshooter, or visible extended magazines for the 9mm's or handcannons, or a scope for the lever action, I don't know. For the support spec, maybe an automatic shotgun or something. And for a lvl 5 berserker, maybe some kind of leg armor that reduces the damage done by crawlers by 75-85%, or Dual Katanas (would have to reduce their base damage though to prevent them from being overpowered). Not sure what a lvl 5 field medic or commando might get though, lol.​

only-level-5 weapons would just mean people would solo-grind perks to level 5 instead of learning to play them on beginner and normal.

I already loathe the perk levels as it is. Especially the way you only spawn with a weapon at lvl5. Makng it even more biased is just... stupid.

I still think the perks should continue to level 10, however after level 5 instead of getting stat upgrades, you get cosmetic upgrades. However I'd rather see more content such as new maps first.

Personally I think the community is taking care of the new maps issue quite well. There are some extremely well designed maps out there, and if TWI would just make the best ones official maps released with a new patch, then the maps would be taken care of easily.

With TWI free to work on other things, maybe we could get those new perk levels, new weapons, and maybe even new specimens.

I really don't mind the idea of leveling up the perks even further. Since sharpshooter is the only one I still have to get to level 5, I find myself not even playing the other perks that often anymore. Problem is, sharpshooter is incredibly boring for me to level, so I find myself quitting the game more and more often now. Expanding the other classes more would make me play more again.

Honestly the most fun I have had in this game was leveling up the Berserker. Too bad it was the first one I leveled up to 5. I just wonder how making the characters more powerful would change the game. The specimens will just get easier and easier, however if they strengthened the monsters, or added new ones, then things could be a little too difficult for the lower leveled perks. Then again, those people DO have the choice of playing on beginner level.
If the additional levels just added cosmetic changes, I wouldn't really feel as much drive to level, since I don't really care how my guy looks THAT much, especially if I needed to add on another 5 million damage just to get a shiny badge or whatever.

Still, I think more is better, anyday.

i think this is can be done, by adding physical characteristics such as silencers, scopes, dualies, gold plate, silverplating are great ideas for level 6,7,8...if TWI put out an update for level 6+ that would enhance the look and feel and not the fire power, it would awesome.

btw i would have 2 of my perks at level 6(commando, ss).
