You talking about word 'american' ? :D

Meehhh

I looked at American 180. It looks like a Thompson = sexy, even though the drum mag on the top of this particular gun is ugly. But TDI Vector? Sod off, I say. -.-

Suggestion for new medic gun is pointless when all that needs to be done is make the current medic gun like in reality, low recoil, high damage, high precision or make medic class have all the progression with that gun like every other class has.

Btw, the current medic gun has the best overall animation of all the guns in the game.

Medics are meant to be for healing people. Personally, I believe the mark of a good healing (not tanking) medic is having the least kills by a large margin.
If you get bored in the later waves, play on suicidal or switch to a perk that's meant to kill stuff.

That said, I think a next-tier medic gun should have better healing capabilities, and not better offensive capabilities. Could you detail what you think would be good improvements to the dart? I'd rather see improvements to the dart than improvements to damage or controllability.

Just my two cents. Mind, I pretty much never play as medic, on my current account or my friend's account before I bought the game. So, if what I'm saying doesn't make sense to experienced medics, then I apologize.

The first is not always true. For instance, i consider myself a good medic and one game i went from SS/Commando to medic after topping the chart. Does this make me a bad medic? I believe what you're saying really only applies to medics who start playing as medics early on.

My biggest suggestion would be a slightly better healing output, with better hit detection capabilities.

Slightly more of an offensive weapon, it'd be similar to a powerful dual 9mm with healing darts instead of a torch. Although with full auto at a slower than AK47 rpm. With the AK47 firing at 6-700rpm[1], and the Sten firing at 4-500rpm[1].

EDIT: Also less of a discount because it is better. It should be about $4-600 in price. More expensive than the MP7, not so expensive as to make it out of reach of the lower level players.

I'm not saying American 180s are particularly beautiful guns, but the features of a super-low-recoil, fast, weak, extreme capacity gun would make for a unique and interesting weapon, instead of following the boring pattern of what features are most common and practical in reality. 12 continuous seconds of accurate gunfire sounds like fun to me. And if you're gonna give an impractical combat gun to someone, it might as well be someone who's main role isn't killing.

As for the TDI Vector aesthetics thing, well, that's too subjective to bother arguing about. It is over-represented in gaming, and something more obscure could be more interesting, so I guess it may not be the ideal choice, but I still fail to see why my suggestion was found to be so... offensive...?
