The M99's damage will get reduced drastically.

This is a ANTI-MATERIAL rifle:IS2:. If you hit someone in the head its supposed to die. Single player doesn't count for balancing. Even on hard(which is easy). I am being unreasonable in defending the damage of a 13lbs weapon that cost 4000? Please leave the damage alone. I don't want another useless SS weapon *cough* m14 *cough*.

The only ones that should have any say on wether it's overpowered or not (considering its intended prices on weapon and ammo and its weight) are TWI themselves ;):cool::D

If they consider it OP, i will gladly try and make it weaker (but also much lighter in that case)

About ammo, how about making it 18 unperked and each level of Sharpshooter give it 2 more max shots, leaving it at 30 at level 6... good enough?

Yeah your right :p!

However 1 shot fp kills on hoe sp might still be a problem for KF's balancing. But we will change that once we know if it's overpowerd! ;)

SO GET BALANCING! (lol - i know you guys have worked hard on it - and you've done a great job so far!)

Have you had any TWI guys do a beta to see if the weapon stats are in the right "ballpark"? You know - just make sure the m99 is OP right now ect.

Well i can agree that the damage is a tad too high vs Patty, but against Scrakes it seems viable. Didnt try bodyshots, will do that next week when i get a hold of my computer again .___."
But killing FPs with one shot un-perked, yeah a little high. Otherwise the weapons are nice damagewise, price for the M7A3 is a real joke, though i can see why it is that way for testing purposes. The MK23 was done, amiright? Or did it still need some few tweaks as well?

Difficulty?

(sorry about double post :S)

Well I fear its base damage is too high. Something around 580 or so might be better. Otherwise it could end up to be an accurate hunting shotgun:D.

I think it really would be better if it had 580 damage and no 1 shot fp kills on suicidal and HOE. Then we can make it lighter too and whitelisting will get much much easier!

The MK23 will get reanimated and it will get new sounds too.

is TWI giving you any help with the dualies issue for the MK23, where you can buy both single pistol AND dual pistols? This won't affect Whitelisting will it? (PS - This thread is misleading - the subject is no longer the M99 but the weapon pack as a whole LOL. Next time you should start the thread as "Weapon Pack 5.0" :p (i will be so excited XD))

That's why we made our own Forum for the Weaponpack, as this here gets confusing very very soon and I really have a hard time finding all bugs.
Version 5.0 will include something new :p

Personnaly, m99 would insta kill ALL zeds with headshot except the patty on HoE and maybe flesh pound on HoE (6 players of course). 1 or 2 shot for the flesh pound? discuss.
And for the patty try to kill him on HoE 6 players only with more than 6-7 shots. It would be interesting.
