Hi all,
Im new to the game as I got it on friday night. I was introduced to it by a person on the forums that I am a regular memeber. He wrote a decent review of the game and it took my eye instantly due to its superior realism over COD2.
Ive been playing under the name: SilentScope[UK] and have had some got matches on "The Wild Bunch" (or summit like that) server.
I think its alot better, however, to play using the VoIP ingame as it adds more experience. Im not sure if they are on these forums but "KARL_STINER" was a good team player also.
I was just wondering why, in some maps, ADS in the sniper is quite laggy, maybe its my gfx as they drop to about 13 FPS when im aiming but apart from that the game rocks.

Btw I just tried launching RO and it said it was unavaible. Is there a recent patch out, or what could cause this as it was working fine last night
Nah that is a little Steam Hickup, simply shut down Steam, and use the Task Manager to shut down the Redorchestra.exe or Redorchestra.ex, than restart Steam and it should start as normal
...I get it too 50% of all launches *g*

Witzig has to be one of the most friendly conversationalists I've ever seen online. I admire his efforts. ( I hadda say that because I AM impressed )
I signed up back in February here after having become so frustrated with Infinity Ward and CoD/CoDUO/CoD2.
I can now honestly say I am not, in the least, sorry for having done so.
Red Orchestra OSTFRONT 41-45 is a great game, a wonderful accomplishment! Its a pleasure from any way you look at it, including programming wise and being a rock solid Server to run.
I was so impressed with RO that I now have 5 legal copies. 3 from Steam and 2 boxed copies. We have, in addition to our NOC, a LAN setup for playing online games.. it used to be for CoD exclusively. hahahahaha RO has taken over!
I haven't regretted for a moment switching to RO from CoD! Our gaming pleasure and enjoyment has been so much better. Red Orchestra is everything CoD2 was supposed to be and then a great deal more.
I'm a bit worried though, since it seems I am becoming an avid evangelist for RO. I keep inviting gamers to join us at the LAN for a go at RO. Saturdays are RO days here at the LAN, (we have 4 player machines setup).
We get together on the LAN, join our server, get on the 'Net while enjoying a mess of online RO combat along with pizza and beer! It doesn't get any better than this. I might have to spend a bit more for extra beer and pizza but believe me, its worth it!!

Congratulations Guys... You've manged to set to excellent product and public relations precedents for others to (hopefully) learn from.

I'm a huge RO fan since the 2.0 version for UT2004. I always loved the feeling RO gives, its realism and how fun it is having some teamwork and actually winning matches. Now that I'm starting a RO clan myself, I decided that actually being part of the community would be a good idea. So, Hi all people!
Hello everyone, just purchased RO yesterday, im coming from OFP and have to say that this "game" if you like to call it that is fantastic, so much to discover yet, anyway hi and hope to see you out there somewhere in the future.

Hi all, downloaded RO because of Oleg's review, and am I ever glad I did. Coming from Wolfenstein:ET, btw.
Starting out was VERY difficult, but as I get the grip on maps and weapons and gameplay, RO is becoming more and more fun each round played.
