Hello Everybody,
As you might know Antimatter Games is working hard on future updates for the Red Orchestra franchise. To be able to make sure that content released for the updates plays well, and to make sure that in special bug hunts we didn't miss some bugs especially ones with a lot of people.

We need people to help us.

Unlike near release beta’s with more internal testing, you will start with maps from a very rough extremely buggy phase, and on a weekly basis see things being tweaked an moved around. For this we need both enough people to give a good representation on gameplay, as well as feedback and opinions on where the issues lie with how the map plays.

If you want to help in actually improving the game and making sure that content that gets released will be of sufficient quality and like seeing content evolve from very early stages to release ready then please apply. However if you want to just try out content early, it’s probably best to not apply as things are often broken and still meh making people get bored and quit after their first test.

So without further ado if you feel like signing up to be a tester for future RO2/RS content then sign up below.

Hope to see you guys soon ^^

Do you have to "know" things about games? Like technical things or can you just be a fan that really likes playing RO?

We are trying to separate the core of bug finding a bit from the part of evaluating gameplay. However we do expect that if people come upon an issue that they will share it with us so we can fix it, and similarly are able to act in a professional matter to not exploit bugs and issues if they are not fixed yet. People with a good eye for spotting issues are always a good addition, but technical prowess is not a requirement.

However remember that this is not just a "demo" of new content. Content will be provided in a rough an early phase, allowing things to be moulded and shaped according to feedback and observations of how it plays.

So expect early on things to simply be unbalanced and rough. The fun for a lot of people is seeing how things slowly evolve over time, and the feeling of being part of making a map become what it will be.

Antimatter Games (which started as the mod team working on Rising Storm), works as a contracted company for Tripwire together with Tripwire. So tripwire tells us what to do and we do it, sort of. So for suggestions for new features and the kind its tripwire you need to reach as they generate the shopping list :)

Information about what to test will generally pop up through the testing forums over at Antimatter Games, usually with updates there is a gap of very little activity (stuff needs to be created before it can be tested). And then a ramp up in activity all the way till open beta and release. We are going to try and keep good progress reports with the likely weekly new builds coming out, showing you what changed (giving you an idea what might be broken and wrong) together with what stuff is new :).
