People are GOING TO LAUGH when they see threads like this.
I can't beleive you don't see much of this funny.
Do you come from a country where everyone has a sense of humour that no-one understands?
Yes they are. If I may quote myself "It would be funny to see a rolling ball of specimens hurtling towards the players." As a matter of fact, my first thought was one of those pigpen dust clouds with limbs rotating around. (That would prevent having to draw individual specimens). But it seems that 90% of your messages in my threads or replies to me are simply threadcrapping. Notice I didn't say anything about your posts till that stupid troll image.
So you want to reply that you think it is a stupid idea? Go ahead. Want to help make it better? You are welcome as well. But if all you want to do is threadcrap then just stay out of my threads and replies.

It could be. If the firebug saw it from a distance and started flaming early. What would really do damage is if all of the player sidestepped Swarm but were close to the end of the hall or room at the end of Swarm's path. Just toss a couple incendiary grenades at the end and Swarm would separate in the flames.

That's it except instead of rolling over a player, on contact, Swarm separates into all of the specimens jumping onto the player. But that attack is exactly what I was thinking of.

Really? Who notices that? Who cares? Respond to multiple replies and there is a "wall of text" no one likes to read. Just happen to have consecutive replies and people complain about that as well.

Besides, looking at this from a semi-serious perspective, this would make welding practically useless if zeds could just avalanche it down.
Brilliant idea. Swarm simply powers through welded doors, in the direct path, as well.
I don't care about people ripping into my ideas. Hell, I welcome it. The more eyes on something the better the end result. If someone wants to say that one of my ideas is the absolute worst idea on the KF boards since my last one, that's cool. Everyone's opinion is valid. But there isn't any reason to repeat that message over and over.
If the idea is that bad, simply say so and leave. If someone wants to help make one of my ideas better, then I welcome all criticisms and suggestions.
Not really. It's not like welding is all that great as it is. This would just kill it off entirely. That's a bad thing imo.
Zips once gave me an infraction for double-posting. I don't really care, I really was just setting myself up for asking why the edit option is gone.

Swarm would bust through a welded door that it hit directly. After all, that would be a lot of mass and power hitting that door at once. If doesn't hit the door directly, then the door would hold.
Nah. This is way too silly to take seriously. Something like this I could see in a game like Serious Sam, but it's just too slapstick and spectacle for Killing Floor. I know KF has its own sense of humor, but it certainly isn't anything this silly.
Besides, most maps are too small for this "swarm" to get to any kind of size before it would get stuck and the players would have to chip a few off before it could roll again.
