New Skins (permanent ones)

While playing the new Summer Event I noticed how nice the new zeds look.

Not just the fact they have the theme, I mean in general. There seems to be alot more work and detail put into them then the orginal ones.

Look at the FleshClown for one. The detail in his body is so much better then the FleshPounds.


I almost hate knowing that we will be going back to the old look soon. So I was thinking.

An update that would be nice is a permanent one, not new zeds, just remade and remastered versions of the old ones.

Wouldn't you guys like to see the Scrake and the Flesh Pound remade to have the same updated look as the Summer event versions?


I know people will say I'm a graphics whore and it doesn't matter. I know that, I love the game ether way. I'm just saying if they did do it they could make the game look so much better and scarier then it is.

I was thinking the same thing. These new zed models make me cringe a little when I think about going back to the original models. But then again I would rather TWI work on more weapons/perk balance rather than new remastered original zed models!
Seriously, anything TWI does to the game is welcome as far as I'm concerned!

Ya, I'd like new weapons and perks too. But I would just love to see the zeds with more detail. Even if someone did it as fan art in 3D.

I'm sure if they remade the Flesh Pound he would be one scary SoB

I would love TWI to release updated versions of the original zeds.

But my computer wouldn't. It is a piece of crap. It runs a ton slower with the new zeds.

But don't keep this from happening on my account! It's a cool idea.

No thanks too perm skins/remodeled zeds, im liking it in general, but not in the long term due too the decap bugs, its a small detailt but ****ing annoying. This should be kept as a event, not perm, it leeches all the fun right out if so.

Ah sorry missunderstood it then matey, then yes, the old ones are indeed good. Aint there a mutator for those? Should be whitelisted imo

Lol, nonono, he means that you have the standard zeds that we normally try and kill, and you redo the skins on them so that they have the same look, but just with more detail and updated graphics. I think it's a great idea if Tripwire has the time, or can be bothered, it's not really essential but I think it would b pretty neat.

I also have noticed the "crisper" graphics on the Summer skins, would be nice to have it applied to the normal zeds as well.

If the proportions for the specimens remained the same I think it'd be feasible to sell hi-def DLC for those that really want it. I'd certainly buy it!

I like your idea but I think preserve it and hope for a KF2. There are more important things for our KF.

I know man. Thats why I think it should be done. Keep the old look and style but with more detail and higher def.

Really, you can't say its a waste of time, cause well, so is the events really.

I made an account for the forums just for this thread: I have to agree- I love the Summer Zeds. I could understand them loving the circus theme, sure- but compared to the original Zeds, the detail in these ones are so much more amazing.

Though I have to admit- Not a huge fan of the new Fleshpound. Other than that, amazing skins on these summer Zeds. If we had a choice to keep them or not, I'd vote to keep them.


I'm not sure I'd ever get tired of hearing, "THERE'S AN ANGRY MONKEY CHASING MEEEEEE!!!!"

I often thought it would be nice to see the orignal cast of survivors get a revamp. Davin, Briar, Masterson, Powers, Lewis and Schneider are no where near the quality of the other charatcers you can buy via DLC.

I would love to see them remodelled and brought up to par, I just never posted it because I kept thinking, is it something worth pestering TWI for? But I'm glad other people feel the same way

Im also for this, I love all the new stuff (especially the new clot's, they look awesome, and when they say "let me stick the tip in" I about pee laughing).

Could you do along the lines of valve and hit us with a HD content pack, hell, i'll even pay for it!

I would to. I love TWI, I got all the DLC for Killing Floor. I would by a HD pack in a heartbeat
