New release date

another interesting find.....still with 1C, i HIGHLY doubt that the 4Q 2010 statement is anything more than the last possible release date. with a 12/31/09 release that seems to be the opposite and the earliest possible release...

TW, can you do everyone a favor and just post a general date, as in the correct quarter or maybe even month? speculation is never a good thing....

Think they gave their best answer. If they said Q4 2010, then how could 9-12 months earlier even be possible?

I can see it releasing in Q2-3 if early, but this year? Lets be realistic here.

Hopefully they learned there lesson and don't say anything until it will for sure come out. I really want them to say something to but why tie themselves to a date that can be missed. Hell look at Valve they consistently miss dates and people still ***** when games aren't released... to the hour. :p

On the other had what have they been doing for the last 3 1/2 years? I would be shocked if it really did just come out at the end of '10. My guess was March to June. Correct me if I wrong but didn't i read that the videos where of an earlier beta and they had already moved on from there?
Hope its out before the community gets to small.

If it would be released in the next month/months there isn't much of a media to speak of. No build up hype or previews.

Then again in the E3 videos it looked like the game was in a playable form already.

this is only because a ****load of stuff is being recycled from Ost in the alpha of HoS (and a ****load is still missing)

That date is wildly inaccurate and I have no idea where they pulled that number from.

It would be quite useful, especially to those communities interested in structuring their time until the release of Red Orchestra: Heroes of Stalingrad to have some sort of official announcement other than 2010 on the release.

I am not implying that the developers speed the process and release the game. I am content waiting for successful finished project. If anything, what we can infer is, without releasing an official release date, TWI likely does not know when the game will be completed itself.

so this has to confirm that it will for sure be released on Jan. 4th 2010 right? :D

i'm not saying to tell us which month or even which quarter, but a simple "1st half of the year" or "second half of the year" would be a nice start. they have to have a good idea whether or not they'll be finished by the start of summer

hmmmm..... as this sherlock talk makes me want to see the movie now. :D
