This has taken me about a month and a lot of effort to sorta map out and design, but what I have here is an idea/draft for a new female character called, “Sorrow”, she’d be the 18th character and 4th female character if she was to be added to the game.
Just quickly, this post will be split up into 3 parts and I’ll explain each section in more detail:

Depending on the hairstyle that you select, it changes the colours of her hair/eyebrows, eyes, and lipstick, and her eyes are visible in the dark.

Sorrow’s Horzine Merc Bundle
This is an outfit bundle concept for Sorrow, called “Horzine Merc”, as you can see I’ve taken the Horzine security Armour that we already have, and specifically made a version for Sorrow to wear, if you put the Horzine security armour we have now and Sorrows armour side by side you can see which parts I’ve taken from the Horzine Security armour, and put on Sorrow.
And to keep it original to the Horzine security armour, I’ve also used the same designs from the Horzine security bundle for Sorrows design, meaning that Sorrows Horzine Merc bundle have the same designs as the ones in the Horzine Security armour bundle, those being:

Accessories
Sorrows customization is a little different to other characters, changing Sorrows body skin will change the colour of her head aswell. For the accessories, Sorrow cannot wear any outfits bundles, so no chicken suit, cardboard knight, hazmat suit, steampunk etc, so only her body skins, and her Horzine Merc bundle…
She also can’t wear any “Full head Helmets”, but she can wear, Eye wear/glasses/goggles, mouthpieces/bandana’s, hats/beanies/helmets, etc, just not any cosmetic that covers her entire head.
Reason being, in her Bio and quotes she expresses how and why she dislikes clothing and so forth, so I figured it’d be only right to not have accessible outfits for her to wear, because imo it takes away from her character.

Likes: not playing by the rules, making fun of her teammates, and, getting messy.
Dislikes: Being poor, Horzine, Humans in general, professionals, rules, and clothing of any type.
Favourite Weapons:
Husk cannon, Buckshot revolver, Katana, Battleaxe, Double barrel Boomstick, HMtech 501 medic grenade rifle, Mac 10, Hemoclobber, Doomstick.
Sorrow’s Backstory:
Deep inside one of Horzine’s Biotic labs. One of its machines abruptly begins to process incorrect data, though before it could initiate its emergency shutdown, it spat out, one more Zed. There was something that changed with this one Zed in particular, one of Horzine’s stalkers. Although this was no ordinary stalker, this stalker, knows a bit more than just acrobats and table manners, she knows how to fight.
After she tore her way out of the facility. She had nowhere else to go, so it wasn’t long until Horizine got their hands on her again. You see Horzine then gave her two options, just kill her, or put her to use, so they put a gun in her hand and told her to shoot, and she deemed quite useful, her next test? Teamwork.
After she was sent to zed containment duty with some mercenaries, let’s just say, not her cup of tea. She did begin to come around, but she stayed weary, the other mercs however still had their trouble with her, whether it was because of her bad smell? Lack of clothing? Or rotting flesh? It didn’t matter, because she was one of them now. But this girl now has a purpose, and her mission, is to find herself, find who she is, and why she is here, and nothing, will get in her way.
Now Sorrow would surprisingly fit quite well into the lore imo, because not only is she a stalker but, for her to be “abruptly created” wink-wink, Matriarch…, imo, is quite a nice way to fit her into the KF universe, because she doesn’t know who she is and who made her and for what purpose, making her angry, and scared, which creates who she is as a character.
And since the Matriarch is Rachel Clamely…Rachel’s DNA being what created the Stalker, yes, Sorrow would be a clone of Rachel’s DNA according to the lore, which would make some interesting interactions between Sorrow, and the Matriarch coming this Christmas… especially since Biotic labs new objective mode will be connected with the Matriarch and that of where Sorrow was created…
Now onto the:
Voice acting/Quotes/Marketing
So first off the voice actor…this is the big part for you Tripwire for many reasons, from funding to finding voice actors who speak the specific languages that you need etc.
but the voice actor that I think would go best for Sorrow would be Luisa d'Oliveira, as seen, if I were to put a voice to a face it would be Luisa’s – Sorrow’s.
Luisa is a 33 year old Canadian actress who has starred in multiple TV shows and films and was nominated back in 2014 as best actress in the TV show called “Cracked”, but a lot of people may or may not know her for her work as Deputy Hudson in Far Cry 5.

Voice Filter?
And for Sorrows actual voice, you could use the “Stalker zed filter”, so that eery, whispery sounding filter over Sorrows voice, obviously not as clear because you wouldn’t understand half the things Sorrow would be saying (But I’ll leave a link below so you can listen to the stalker sounds to hear what they sound like and what I mean by their “voice filter”).

But let me know what you think about the voice filter idea and whether you think you’d want the filter or not for Sorrow, and if anyone has any other ideas for another voice actor you think would suit her better, then please, I am all ears.
But in my opinion Luisa would play a loud mouthed Zed pretty damn well lol.
Marketing
And for the marketing, there’s not much that I can exactly “do”, that’s more on you TW but I can say this…
Imo, I think this character has a lot of potential, and I hope that many other people think the same, but, if you were to sell her in a bundle, I’d say this.
Sell Sorrow for 10-15 bucks with:
Now, I would really like to hear all of your opinions on this… So, “what if” let’s say Tripwire likes this idea, makes a player model, sorts out the voice actors, design etc, … and then we cut straight to the conclusion of, if this character were to announced, and available to purchase in the store, in let’s say a character/outfit/weapon bundle.
Would you be interested in buying her? ... Yes/No. Because if you like the look of this character and you would be interested in getting Sorrow, then tripwire would be going down the right path further developing this character idea. But if you wouldn’t, then I don’t think tripwire would bother, but I hope you know what I mean by this...

Tripwire, you have a very complex categorizing system when it comes to all the character quotes, I have noted down each and every category but I have not done them all, so below I have done most of the quotes for Sorrow but not all of them, but I’d imagine that Tripwire, you’d have a sort of list to refer back to, to do the rest if you needed to?
Now just quickly, I am not expecting you to go through all of the quotes, because there are quite a few, so it’s up to you, I wanted to simply include her quotes to give you all an understanding of what’d she say in certain situations and get a feel of her personality.
So you can go through them all, skip through or just simply go to the quote that you want to see, and I’ve tried to categorize them as best I can. Also, use your imagination with this, and try to imagine Luisa’s voice saying these lines.

But again, Tripwire please do at least consider this idea as I think it has a lot of potential and I for one would definitely buy her, and maybe as for a lot of other people too, especially if she’s bundled with a weapon or two plus her Horzine-Merc bundle, but, only time will tell, thank you all very much for taking a look at this idea.

Just quickly, this post will be split up into 3 parts and I’ll explain each section in more detail:
The 3 parts are:
- Character customization.
- Bio/personality/Lore.
- Voice acting/Marketing/Quotes.
So let’s start with:
Character customization:
Body:
Quick note: I am not the greatest artist in the world so please keep that in mind ;P
An artwork design showing her, front and back view, also, this design is the default skin for Sorrow.
Sorrow has 3 different body styles in total:
The names of her three skins are:
- Classic Black
- Smooth Grey
- Pale White
Now onto the:

Sorrow has 4 default hairstyles in total:
Depending on the hairstyle that you select, it changes the colours of her hair/eyebrows, eyes, and lipstick, and her eyes are visible in the dark.

Sorrow’s Horzine Merc Bundle
This is an outfit bundle concept for Sorrow, called “Horzine Merc”, as you can see I’ve taken the Horzine security Armour that we already have, and specifically made a version for Sorrow to wear, if you put the Horzine security armour we have now and Sorrows armour side by side you can see which parts I’ve taken from the Horzine Security armour, and put on Sorrow.
And to keep it original to the Horzine security armour, I’ve also used the same designs from the Horzine security bundle for Sorrows design, meaning that Sorrows Horzine Merc bundle have the same designs as the ones in the Horzine Security armour bundle, those being:
- Mark 7
- Snow DigiCam
- Desert
- Multicam
- Hazard
- Adament
- Bounty Hunter
- Precious
- Sorrows Horzine Merc mask and goggles. (The Horzine face mask)
- Sorrows Horzine Merc Body gear. (The Shoulder pads, Tactical Gloves, Torso gun straps/holster, Gear belt, Thigh pads, knee pads and Ankle knife holster.)
But now onto the:
Accessories
Sorrows customization is a little different to other characters, changing Sorrows body skin will change the colour of her head aswell. For the accessories, Sorrow cannot wear any outfits bundles, so no chicken suit, cardboard knight, hazmat suit, steampunk etc, so only her body skins, and her Horzine Merc bundle…
She also can’t wear any “Full head Helmets”, but she can wear, Eye wear/glasses/goggles, mouthpieces/bandana’s, hats/beanies/helmets, etc, just not any cosmetic that covers her entire head.
Reason being, in her Bio and quotes she expresses how and why she dislikes clothing and so forth, so I figured it’d be only right to not have accessible outfits for her to wear, because imo it takes away from her character.
Now onto the:
Bio/Personality/Lore
Sex: Female
Age: Unknown
Origin: Unknown
POB: Horzine Cloning Facility
Occupation: Zed.
Birth Sign: Unknown
Likes: not playing by the rules, making fun of her teammates, and, getting messy.
Dislikes: Being poor, Horzine, Humans in general, professionals, rules, and clothing of any type.
Favourite Weapons:
Husk cannon, Buckshot revolver, Katana, Battleaxe, Double barrel Boomstick, HMtech 501 medic grenade rifle, Mac 10, Hemoclobber, Doomstick.
Sorrow’s Backstory:
Deep inside one of Horzine’s Biotic labs. One of its machines abruptly begins to process incorrect data, though before it could initiate its emergency shutdown, it spat out, one more Zed. There was something that changed with this one Zed in particular, one of Horzine’s stalkers. Although this was no ordinary stalker, this stalker, knows a bit more than just acrobats and table manners, she knows how to fight.
After she tore her way out of the facility. She had nowhere else to go, so it wasn’t long until Horizine got their hands on her again. You see Horzine then gave her two options, just kill her, or put her to use, so they put a gun in her hand and told her to shoot, and she deemed quite useful, her next test? Teamwork.
After she was sent to zed containment duty with some mercenaries, let’s just say, not her cup of tea. She did begin to come around, but she stayed weary, the other mercs however still had their trouble with her, whether it was because of her bad smell? Lack of clothing? Or rotting flesh? It didn’t matter, because she was one of them now. But this girl now has a purpose, and her mission, is to find herself, find who she is, and why she is here, and nothing, will get in her way.
Now Sorrow would surprisingly fit quite well into the lore imo, because not only is she a stalker but, for her to be “abruptly created” wink-wink, Matriarch…, imo, is quite a nice way to fit her into the KF universe, because she doesn’t know who she is and who made her and for what purpose, making her angry, and scared, which creates who she is as a character.
And since the Matriarch is Rachel Clamely…Rachel’s DNA being what created the Stalker, yes, Sorrow would be a clone of Rachel’s DNA according to the lore, which would make some interesting interactions between Sorrow, and the Matriarch coming this Christmas… especially since Biotic labs new objective mode will be connected with the Matriarch and that of where Sorrow was created…
Now onto the:
Voice acting/Quotes/Marketing
So first off the voice actor…this is the big part for you Tripwire for many reasons, from funding to finding voice actors who speak the specific languages that you need etc.
but the voice actor that I think would go best for Sorrow would be Luisa d'Oliveira, as seen, if I were to put a voice to a face it would be Luisa’s – Sorrow’s.
Luisa is a 33 year old Canadian actress who has starred in multiple TV shows and films and was nominated back in 2014 as best actress in the TV show called “Cracked”, but a lot of people may or may not know her for her work as Deputy Hudson in Far Cry 5.
Link to an interview/fashion shoot, called “Meet Luisa D'Oliveira”, its short and funny, and it’s also for you to just hear her voice and see her personality glow and how she could use that for Sorrow =
Voice Filter?
And for Sorrows actual voice, you could use the “Stalker zed filter”, so that eery, whispery sounding filter over Sorrows voice, obviously not as clear because you wouldn’t understand half the things Sorrow would be saying (But I’ll leave a link below so you can listen to the stalker sounds to hear what they sound like and what I mean by their “voice filter”).

But let me know what you think about the voice filter idea and whether you think you’d want the filter or not for Sorrow, and if anyone has any other ideas for another voice actor you think would suit her better, then please, I am all ears.
But in my opinion Luisa would play a loud mouthed Zed pretty damn well lol.
Marketing
And for the marketing, there’s not much that I can exactly “do”, that’s more on you TW but I can say this…
Imo, I think this character has a lot of potential, and I hope that many other people think the same, but, if you were to sell her in a bundle, I’d say this.
Sell Sorrow for 10-15 bucks with:
- Sorrow bundle: 4 heads, 3 bodies, new playable character etc.
- A new weapon or two.
- And to sweeten the deal, maybe even Sorrows Horzine Merc bundle I mentioned before.
Now, I would really like to hear all of your opinions on this… So, “what if” let’s say Tripwire likes this idea, makes a player model, sorts out the voice actors, design etc, … and then we cut straight to the conclusion of, if this character were to announced, and available to purchase in the store, in let’s say a character/outfit/weapon bundle.
Would you be interested in buying her? ... Yes/No. Because if you like the look of this character and you would be interested in getting Sorrow, then tripwire would be going down the right path further developing this character idea. But if you wouldn’t, then I don’t think tripwire would bother, but I hope you know what I mean by this...
And finally:
Quotes
Tripwire, you have a very complex categorizing system when it comes to all the character quotes, I have noted down each and every category but I have not done them all, so below I have done most of the quotes for Sorrow but not all of them, but I’d imagine that Tripwire, you’d have a sort of list to refer back to, to do the rest if you needed to?
Now just quickly, I am not expecting you to go through all of the quotes, because there are quite a few, so it’s up to you, I wanted to simply include her quotes to give you all an understanding of what’d she say in certain situations and get a feel of her personality.
So you can go through them all, skip through or just simply go to the quote that you want to see, and I’ve tried to categorize them as best I can. Also, use your imagination with this, and try to imagine Luisa’s voice saying these lines.
So, I’m gonna leave you all with the quotes, do what you wish with them, leave your opinion on what you think about…well, everything in this post.

But again, Tripwire please do at least consider this idea as I think it has a lot of potential and I for one would definitely buy her, and maybe as for a lot of other people too, especially if she’s bundled with a weapon or two plus her Horzine-Merc bundle, but, only time will tell, thank you all very much for taking a look at this idea.
