We've all joined a game on wave five or six , or generally far along enough that the pistol is almost useless. Oh and people kill stuff anyway so you have a very tough time earning money \kills .

I suggest the development of a small mutator \ mod that would balance items \ money as the game went.
that sounds misleading.
I mean if a guy is packing armor, a LAW and a shotgun and stil has Ł2197 , then the game takes 25-50% of HIS money to give to the 1-2 poorest people or the ones that freshly join.
This is forced and the player has no chance to resist this happening, but I'd rather stake the rich out instead of the noobs being ignored. If there are noobs in the game, there will be more, and tougher enemies - but they have pistols so they will die quite soon as well. All that does is make the game harder for the rest.

in short, if some people are stupid, greedy, selfish, retarded or don't speak english, this mod would force them to give the poorest people some of their excess money.
Ideas?

Not really needed. In later waves, any good player knows that he should give spare cash to newbies, if for no other reason than that they'll distract the critters from him! This idea of forced cash-sharing would accomplish 2 things:

-Suck away cash from good players to any player who might randomly join. Half of them will be total nublets, take the money, waste it, die, then leave, effectively wasting the good player's money that he might later need if HE accidentally dies once or twice in a later wave. This'll aggravate good players very quickly.

-Allowing morons/noobs/griefers to sit at 0 money (Or even waste money), not having to get any kills whatsoever, knowing that they'll get free cash from the other players.

I never said it has to be in effect or that certain parameters cannot stop those from happening.
Let's say the mutator \ mod had a variable that said that if the dude who got your money leaves in 4 waves or less you'd get it back AND what he had when he left?
Trust me, "good players" are hilariously rare in this game.

Yeah, we're pretty rare. It has potential, but needs tweaking.

Also, where you said "Late enough in waves that the pistol becomes useless", you might want to remember that on Hard and up, the Pistol is near-useless from the first wave onward!

Jeez I would hate this. I play with a 4 man crew, and while I dont mind sharing for the puggers in the other 2 slots, Ill only share if I've done a couple maps with them, or they proven to be a team player (like suicide charging a mob so the rest of the better equipped team can escape). Too many people beg for MONIES PLZZZ!! then die and insta log out that at this point it isnt a stereotype, its a standard. I'd rather sock that money away for a rainy day in case a valid teamplayer dies and needs rekitted.

Exactly.

We have enough socialism in real life. The last place we need it is in games.

I don't take anything this guy says seriously anyway after his 'idea' thread titled "this game NEEDS crosshairs!".

I have to agree that there is too much money in the game. Even at Suicidal difficulty we tend to get everything we need. That's boring and makes the game too easy.

I don't see any reasons why there could not be an option to lower the amounts of money gained without losing perk leveling.

In the end, there should be lots of other options as well to make the game harder without losing the perks (stamina bar, number of simultaneous enemies, 'nade spamming time etc.).

Totally agree. This mod/mutator would be totally unnecessary and ludicrous. Mandatory wealth redistribution? Not in my Killing Floor.

The pistol happens to be a VERY effective weapon if u know how to use it. All u have to do is aim ur shots and go for the head. Then u will soon find out that it is one of the best and most accurate weapons in the game. Just use the motto of 1 shot 1 headshot 1 kill. When u take their head just let them bleed out why the run towards you.

But on topic of the suggestion i half like the idea but as said above any good player will share out the cash :)

Yea man, no crosshairs in this game, ever, ever! And I remember he was talking bout realism? Crosshairs are very realistic, aren't they?

Heh, is there no 'No Politics' rule here?

No, says the Repubican, it belongs to my Argentinian mistress.

I'm done.

Anyway, I think this idea is silly. Solely because as everyone else has noticed, you won't get your money's worth if someone just ragequits. I think it is fine as it is. If you come in with only a pistol it's a great challenge and if the team spirit is there they will loan you money. IF they don't, you know this team is a bunch of tightwads and unlikely to survive a Patriarch. I stayed with a few teams that were basically a bunch of loners and yea, the Patriarch just mowed over us. IF they're not willing to give you even a fifty you know to just quit.

Totaly agree i cant remember i runned out of bullets for instance. I usually end a medium-lenght game fully equipped and 1500+ cash.
Make us work hard for those clips and hunting shotguns!

Yeah, but on the other hand, there is not much money on suicidal. Im not giving it to a commando level2.

I dont like OPs idea. With current system I can give money to the medic instead of commando 2 who then rage quit with my money.

more often then not i get the money i need from players, and also i always give money to players, if its too late and they didnt buy anything i usually throw one of my shotguns to them. sometimes they quit and i lose a perfectly good shotgun/hunting shotgun (i give them whatever gun i dont feel like using which could be either) but as a whole they tend to appreciate it, some are nice enough to return it before buying whatever gun they intend to use
