I enjoy Killing Floor so much more when its without the HUD, because its so realistic and intense. But I still need to check the HUD every so often to see my ammo, health, etc. I think there should be a control that can be assigned to a key that toggles the HUD on and off. That would be really awesome
Thoughts?

Actually, you can create this control yourself.

Simply open your user.ini (it is located in your Steam\steamapps\common\killingfloor\System folder), scroll down until you find the key you want to use to toggle the hud, and type "showhud" after the equals sign. Save the file, and start up KF.

For example, in my user.ini, I am using the L key to toggle the hud:

Even easier, you can bind a key ingame by opening the console and typing

"Set input <key> showhud"

No quotes. <key> = the keyboard key you wish to use. Don't use <>, I just used that for example.

Woulnt be bad if there was minimal hud also.

I put key for letter T, its easy to handle.

Just made a video, Hard 4 men. Played as lvl4 Berserker most of the time.

Great fun, great athmosphere. I need a practice still, but very enjoyable gameplay with NO HUD. Practice is needed, that you see when other peoples need a health.

Get rid of the HUD also gets rid of the post processing mood overlay if you are wondering why some maps such as biolabs looks different.

No HUD is always neat. Especially in a game like this or Call of Pripyat.

Haven't used it yet but I did bind it to H for hud. Just in case I decie I want to get a little retro
