New build in test

Just wanted to give players (and admins) a heads up we are testing a new build that addresses the server unranking issue as well as HMG's not properly respawning. If testing of this build goes well I'll be able to share more concrete details soon.

The game has been sunset in terms of development. There will be no further content from us officially for Rising Storm 2: Vietnam.

@Yoshiro if possible could you please talk about why you chose something like the HMG issue to fix? Which seems to be an issue that most people won't care about and we'll have the little to no consequence for the game??

I fully understand you guys fixing the server unranking issue.

Members of the community found the error in code and proposed a fix and passed it along, after verification it was added.

I fully understand you guys fixing the server unranking issue.

If you play SU maps or any map with attack helicopters people would die with DShK in their inventory. Some were killed before they could place it down. Others would pick it up and die with it intentionally. When this would happen it would leave the other team without that DShK for the rest of the map. This was wasn't the case before the patch that broke a lot of things. It needed to be fixed.

Why did y'all just abandon this game? Hell, you abandoned it as soon as it started getting interesting with adding new factions and mechanics and stuff. This game could've lasted for another 5 years, but now the community will probably follow suit with RO2 and get 500 players online daily on average. Very sad to see. Hope the next game lasts longer than 2 years.
