Only 1 KFO? Thats boring, its not like users make any decent KFO maps either.
Something like "Wield-250-doors":
Maybe kill 250 specimens with some kind of advanced welder?..
It takes a lot of work to create a map. I'd feel offended If I were Poosh or any other creator of KFO maps.
There seem to be no new weapons (my wallet is happy). Probably we Will see camo weapons 2 and new woman char as seen on ach images

I'm offended for Poosh that you would even throw his name in a reply that mentions undecent maps. His map is by far one of the best (and sadly least enjoyed/played) KFO map made. His map should be included into KF.
It does take time to create a map, but it also takes interest, something that died out a long time ago.
There were several mission based maps created in the early years of KF, TWI was just late to actually make a official game mode. There are probably more KFGametype missions maps being played right now then Objective maps.

I was stumbling around sites, and for the life of me I thought I seen the dates of 3 July through 22/25 July somewhere. But, when I retraced my steps, I don't see it again. So if it was leaked for a small amount of time, its gone now.
That would work well on the East Coast of the USA, since there will be a slight soaking event since we have a tropical depression heading up the coast.
I don't see it happening any later, since this summer event might push to the end of the month. If I was a betting man, I would have to say they want some distance from the end of the summer event, until the potential pre-release of KF2.
History might well repeat itself, No ?

So a wild guess; KF1 summer event starts on the 3rd, ends on the 23rd.
Then Say mid August (18th-22nd) the pre-release date for KF2 is given out. I am guessing KF2 pre-release comes out early to mid September (not on the 11th, but 15-18th) and then that gives TWI five weeks before KF2 is "officially" released around (10/23/2014) Halloween.
Pushing back anythin further will cause a confusion of monetary funds as there will be other competing titles - for Game of the Year - coming out in early November.
This may be way off, but in a marketing kind of way (going backwards...October to current day) it makes sense - to me anyway.

Maybe you think that every map creator is super taleneted. There are plenty of cool obj mode maps like Snuff, OnceUponATimeInMexico, Westlondon, Manufractured, Peak, Haunted-Hotel, Station. Can't remember all.

Hell yeah! On days when the beach is a no-go, there's nothing I love more than to sit inside on a hot and rainy summer day with the AC blasting and eating Papa John's pizza while getting my game on.
Marry that with grinding out the summer cheevos and you, good sir, have an exquisite colorful cocktail of fun and good times.

Map creators are talented to some degree to create a map, thou not all maps created are acceptably good.
Snuff was made by Alex_KF, of course it would be good being he is the guy that made KF.
OUATIM is boring and is already a KFGametype map which is the better version.
Westlond is the same as Foundry only with more bugs and played even less properly.
Manufractured needs a MAJOR fix up, a lot of users hate that map and dont want to play it a 2nd time.
Peak is great but it was already a KFGametype map. That bugged Patty fight is what ruins everything.
Hotel is Key Hunting simulator.
Station is also good, but can be better.
Only other objective map you forgot is Soylent Zed, which is also a great map. There is also Containment Station which is just unplayable in multiplayer, Lerwick Wonder which is glitched right at the start to the boss fight, which ruins it for everyone. And last is another map Fel recreated for Obj, but i cant say anything
I dont count those FP Challenge or survival KFO Maps.
Good, then there is still time, but a guesstimate date would be great.
They simply stated after the sale, which ended June 30th. They never specified the very next day, as it could be any day from now till the end of time. Just saying xD
